Bachelor Fiancee Arrested
As if it wasn’t bad enough for us Bachelor fans to find out last week that this season ended miserably, with no proposals and no promises, just three unhappy people, we now find out that one of the only two couples to stay together after their original proposal is headed for a little bit of trouble.
Last Tuesday
on the After the Final Rose special, Byron Velvick and Mary Delgado appeared, talking of their happiness being together, and promising to get married next November, denying host Chris Harrison’s requests to get married live on the show that very night. I wasn’t so sure that season if Byron was picking the best choice for him, but nonetheless, they’ve been living together, assumably happily, for the past three years.
Early Wednesday morning, barely hours after we saw them again, Mary was arrested for punching a man she lives with in the mouth, and was charged with battery. The man she lives with wasn’t named, but we can only assume it was Byron, her fisherman fiance. She was released later that afternoon.
Who knows what this means for their wedding plans. It would almost seem as if their argument stemmed from something on the show that night. Were they arguing about not being married yet? Were they arguing about the announcement that they’ll be married next November, or were they choosing sides between Deanna and Jennie vs. Brad?
Regardless, as much of a heel as Brad looked like last week after not choosing either of the two women on the final episode of The Bachelor, he’s probably thanking his lucky stars for not getting involved in this mess.

Ooooh! I didn’t know about this! Too, too funny. It was pretty cheesy the way they were paraded out yet again as “another” happy Bachelor couple. As if there were more than two. Heh.
Very juicy stuff here!

Yeah, the were paraded out, and if she was beatin’ on him that night, there had to be trouble afoot before that.

Anyone who participates in “The Bachelor” or “Bachelorette” expecting “love” is bound to be disappointed. (I guess Trista and Ryan are an exception–at least for NOW.) I’m laughing over Mary and Byron, but even more over Brad’s rejection of the two “ladies”. This has been my favorite season!
