No problem. Your site is great. I’ve never been Xanadu. Should I fix that? Joss has probably directly influenced an entire generation of younger people to want to see musicals because of this episode. They love Buffy, they see Buffy - Buffy makes musicals cool, and there you go.

Hey, thanks for the shout out, and of course I’m right with you in my love of the episode. I’m not that big into musicals, but then again I didn’t grow up surrounded by them (other than The Music Man, which was in frequent rotation in my house). Most of them just feel forced to me,but Once More With Feeling nails everything about them that can be great.

Since living in New York I’ve finally had the chance to see some shows live on Broadway, but so far the only one that has come close to being as good as OMWF is Xanadu. But for completely different reasons. And that is a story for another time.

Thank you very much, Gina! The only season of BTVS that I can’t fully love is season 7. But even there, with such great Andrew and Anya moments, I can’t resist. LoL.

OMWF ended up being one of the very few episodes I liked about season sux, er six. I dreaded seeing what the episode was going to be and feared that it was going to ruin the show as I knew it.
(Little did I know, the rest of the season was going to do it for me!)

But I was very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it a lot. I wore that CD to death, too!
