Best TV of 2007

IGN.com has a ‘Best of 2007 TV’ page up since the year is ending. Now, if you were in some sort of coma all year and have just woken up then you really shouldn’t read the spoilers… So, everything is under the cut. Never let it be said that I, Jessica, am not nice! (Or that I don’t have porcelain skin that rivals Nicole Kidman’s!)

Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Veronica Mars, 30 Rock, Lost…

Best New Show: Chuck

I agree! I mean, mostly. The first episodes were great and maybe the last one weren’t as great…for me, Pushing Daisies and Chuck are at a tie for this spot.

–Runners Up: Pushing Daisies, Journeyman, Mad Men

Well, I love P.D. Journeyman I think is really pretty dumb, and I think they canceled it so that one’s bittersweet (My Dad will be sad). And I’ve never even heard of Mad Men. Just how mad can these men be?!

Show We’ll Miss the Most: Veronica Mars

I agree x 1784230482304!!!!!! This was one of the most unfair cancellations, ever. Season three lacked majorly in comparison to the first two seasons, but if you compare it with anything else on TV (Smallville, ahem) it’s so much better then all those things. I’m praying for a movie. But we’ll probably only get a comic book, if anything. Oh, Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, & Mr. Rob Thomas - did you know my birthday is coming up soon? Hint. Hint. Hint. Veronica Mars - The Complete First Season (I need a fourth season to be made!)

–Runner’s Up: The O.C., Rome, The Sopranos

When The O.C. started, I wanted to like it -honest. But honestly, I didn’t. Even Adam Brody’s cuteness factor wore off. I really can’t pretend to care about this show. I don’t understand why people even liked it. The other two shows I never really saw. I walked in on my sister watching The Sopranos’s the other day and I couldn’t believe how much I disliked it. In short, I miss none of these. Put Gilmore Girls up on this list! Gilmore Girls - The Complete Seventh Season

Biggest Shock: Flash Forward Revealed - Lost

Okay, yea. This was awesome on a scale I can’t describe. I hadn’t been on the best of terms with this show, but I’m psyched for the new season now. I guess you can have a season of suckage, then a flippin’ awesome season finale and win back almost all of your fans. Let that be a lesson to us all!

Couple We Rooted For the Most: Chuck & Sarah - Chuck

I actually was rooting for the runner’s up from Pushing Daisies - Ned and (ironically) Chuck.

Best Character: Jack Donaghy - 30 Rock

I don’t know if I’d say he’s my favorite, but he’s really great. I was actually avoiding this show for a while. I like Tina Fey, but Alec Baldwin had a big head. And I mean that literally. It just bothers me! Anyway, I’ve started watching and this show is amazing. 30 Rock - Season 1
