Miley Steps Out On the Town

Miley Cyrus stepped out on January 6th to go to Morton Steakhouse. Having trouble figuring out which one she is? She’s the one on the right, in the red dress.

Did she clone herself? It’s not like she wouldn’t have valid reasons. She’s probably working harder than half the people over 30.

The dress isn’t all that flattering - the dress on her friend is actually a lot cuter. Miley’s seems almost too grown-up for her. Isn’t she only fifteen?

I just really hope that this mega-star doesn’t endure the Britney Spears syndrome when she’s grown up. What was the first warning sign? K-fed?

Pictured under the cut is a picture ofMiley in a far cuter outfit taken in December of 2007.

According to Scott Monroe, a journalist for the Washington Post, the hottest item for sale on the Hannah Montana tour is the Hannah Montana T-shirt which goes for $30.00. Can’t afford that? How about the $20.00 tour program? Geez!

This is all making me wonder - how rich is this girl? And are these prices really fair?

Radiohead just offered their last album online for a pick your price method, and I believe many people took the album for free. Others contributed what they could or ‘felt like paying’, but still did not pay what they would normally have to pay for the album. I personally admire people who really appreciate their fans. I have no doubt that Miley Cyrus appreciates hers - but whoever is in charge of her show, concerts and contract - they’re exploiting this franchise.

Are they at least donating to charities?

  1. Sadly, those tour merch prices are pretty standard. :P I’ve had to fork over $30+ for shirts and stuff for as long as I can remember. I don’t know a ton about it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the production companies take the biggest cut of it and the artists are getting shafted too.

  2. Ah, really? Yikes! At least these will be collectible T-shirts later on, and anyone who gets them must really, really want them.
