The CW’s Midseason Schedule Revealed

(3 votes, average: 3.33 out of 5)

Thefutoncritic.com has posted the midseason schedule for The CW. Here’s what you need to know:

The focus is on three reality shows. Not a surprise, considering the strike. The three shows? America’s Next Top Model - Cycle 10 (ANTM to the fans), The Pussycat Dolls: Girlalicious, and Beauty and the Geek - the fifth edition.

The network is really pushing The Pussycat Dolls show, as they will be showing encore’s of the show on Wednesdays. I think they’d do much better by showing repeats of Supernatural [ Supernatural - The Complete First Two Seasons ], but CW president, Dawn Ostroff, never listens to me. She canceled Veronica Mars.

This is why Jason Dohring is wasting his talents on the amateur show Moonlight, and Kristen Bell has to be on stupid Heroes. (Maybe the show isn’t always stupid, but I’ve only seen this season, and this season was stupid.)

Horrible things happen when people do moronic things like cancel Veronica Mars.

Until next time,

Jessica for Sofachip.com

Supernatural should be aired, even in reruns.

I’m so baffled as to why it is not on that schedule.

I agree, why is Supernatural being taken off all together. I mean I have heard a lot of people say that it’s because it’s their one solid show and they have faith in it’s fans. That’s fine and dandy but….to be honest, Supernatural is really only one of 3 shows I watch all together on ANY network. I would rather watch Supernatural reruns all day then any of the other shows The CW airs.

LOL. Well, I do certainly agree that Supernatural show be shown instead of the stupid Reality Shows and Dawn O is in serious denial if she thinks the CW can survive on dumb stuff like that, but, whatever.

However, and trust me, this is a once in a lifetime thing, I’m defending her in the Veronica Mars cancellation. She was a big Veronica Mars fan and pushed to show constantly. Had it been up to her, the show would still be on. So, as much as it hurts me to say it, you can’t blame Dawn O for canceling Veronica. However, you can blame her for all the inane decisions made concerning Supernatural. *sigh*

I’m so glad some Supernatural fans are here! I’m hoping to make a post of a brother vs. brother and see who likes what brother more (we love them both, of course) and why! I know Dean is more popular, but that’s why I want to hear from both sides.

Anyway - yes. I really wish it was Supernatural on reruns. I would watch it over again. At least those are reruns I’d watch. And put it this way, how many of us would rather watch SPN reruns rather than a new episode of those other shows? (Although I do enjoy ANTM sometimes.)

Hmm…I didn’t know that Dawn was such a big supporter of Vmars. But it’s such a ‘:O’ topic for me all the facts tend to blur. Good on her for supporting the show, at least. But why is she supporting The Pussycat Dolls? Gah!

Love the comments! I also love this Ben & Jerry’s icecream. Mmmm.

Heroes was excellent in its’ first season and I think that part of the reason it didn’t do so well in the second was just that they had a bit of a shortened schedule and the “sophomore slump” so to speak. One of the producers (I think) even said that he kind of tried to replicate last season and he realised it wasn’t going to work, but it was kind of too late to do much about it without writers and all.
