Locke In Love and Waiting

Finally, some good to come out of that Celebrity Fit Club season that had Dustin Diamond, otherwise known as Screech from Saved By the Bell, doing nothing but insulting everyone and making a fool of himself. It seems a love connection was made, but not involving Diamond and his claim on the porn industry. Instead, this involves a third place finisher on American Idol and a tough-as-nails Marine.

It seems Kimberley Locke, who came in third on season two of American Idol, behind only Ruben Stuttered and Clay Aiken lost 40 pounds on Celebrity Fit Club, but gained something far more valuable in a new relationship. Her suitor is none other than the Fit Club trainer, Marine Harvey Walden. Yet, she doesn’t want to take things too far just yet, as he’s still officially married, yet going through a divorce.

I rarely believe people that say they only got together “after” the divorce or official breakup, but according to Locke, there wasn’t much between her and the trainer during the show. They didn’t really talk much during the show, because “I thought he was mean.” However, once she saw him outside of the show, she realized he wasn’t really all that bad, and was actually kind of nice.

Because Walden is still married, Locke has some steadfast rules about that. Even though he’s in the process of a divorce, she won’t allow anything to get too far, and wants all of that cleared up first. That’s not going to stop them from having fun together in the meantime, though. It’s still not fun for her in the gym with him, though, as he resorts to the tough-as-nails trainer, but being an equally strong person, Locke wants to work out her own way, now that the show is over.

It’s hard to say how this is going to turn out. Maybe Locke won’t be able to continue waiting for Walden to get out of his marriage legally. And if she starts to get branded as “the other woman,” when she seems to be very against being put in that role, she may begin to resent him. For now, though, it seems like they’ll continue to have a lot of fun together, and maybe having her waiting in the wings for him will make him a little softer … just a little bit.
