Now, I'm not someone who wants to see anyone horribly belittled, but if someone goes on the show and they're not good, or wearing a very odd outfit - for the judges to not say anything - that's annoying! Half of the reason Simon became so iconic, I think, is not just because he has sound opinions, but for his attitude. If they water it all down, what's that going to leave us with? My 7 year old laughs along and I like that they are not being cruel as that is not a good thing to teach the younger folks who watch. I do wish they could get some help for the Star Wars girl and the singer they really did not criticize but blew up at them on the first night. (the glitter girl).
