American Idol’s Jessica Sierra – Sex, Drugs, and Rock ‘n Roll

Honestly, could it get any worse for Jessica Sierra, a one-time American Idol finalist? Are any of us really surprised there’s a sex tape floating around out there?

Jessica Sierra, a finalist in season four of American Idol is currently in drug rehab after numerous assorted problems with both sides of the law. She had stalker problems after her time on the show, then ended up hurling a glass at a man in a bar, witch earned her a felony assault with a deadly weapon charge. While being booked, Jessica was found to have cocaine on her person, leading to a charge of bringing contraband into a correctional facility. This somehow got her in contact with Dr. Drew Pinsky, and he tapped her to appear on his new reality series Celebrity Rehab.

After her time on the show, but before it aired, Jessica was asked to leave a bar back in her native Florida, and when she refused, the police were called. She was asked by the police to leave, and did, but fought with a friend across the street. She smelled of alcohol and became combative with police, who then charged her with intoxication and resisting arrest. She was denied bond, with a judge admonishing her, telling her the bar scene isn’t working out for her, so he suggested she find another form of entertainment. Eventually, Jessica was sentenced to one year in a treatment facility, but was granted a 45 day travel permit to get treatment in Pasadena. She was also ordered to refrain from using her treatment to aid her celebrity, and to stay one hundred yards away from cameras and microphones. She won’t be lonely for that entire year in rehab, though, as she’s also pregnant by a rap artist.

Before that order from the judge, though, an adult video company secured the rights to a sex tape that includes Jessica and a man she met at a Hooters bar. The tape features her in a Motel 6 with three people who just happen to look like the three American Idol judges and is due to be released by the end of the month. Not that any of this is a surprise to her last arresting officer, as she allegedly offered him oral sex to let her go, and when he refused, she called him derogatory names.

Of course recently, we found there are some much deep-seated issues surrounding Jessica’s adolescent years. She revealed on Tyra Banks’ show that she was abandoned by her mother at one point, then found and created a relationship with her when she was 13. Her mother was at this point a prostitute and drug addict. During the time Jessica was auditioning for American Idol, her mother passed away from a drug overdose. After American Idol ended, Jessica continued her problems with alcohol and was raped one night. It only ended up pushing her deeper in despair, with her turning to drugs even more. The sex tape was done only to make money to support her habit.

Hopefully, Jessica won’t despair too much in rehab, realizing that if a hotel heiress and an actress best known for working with David Hasselhoff can make a sex tape and become even more famous, then perhaps some day Jessica will be able to put it all behind her and move on as well. She’ll have her own child to think about now, and wouldn’t want her child to grow up without a mother like she did.
