Prep Yourself for Season Four of Lost
The season four premiere of Lost is approximately three days away, depending on how
you look at it. But how can I wait that long? Patience is for suckers.
What do we know? What can we look forward to? First off, if you want to know something about the released poster to your right, you’ll have to click after the jump!
There are eight episodes (out of 16 planned episodes) that can air, and were completed before the strike.
J.J. Abrams worked on Cloverfield (big monster movie that recently came out?) which had a very viral campaign, so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that Lost has had one too.
Apparently the below YouTube video played during some commercials:
So, that’s just some nice Australian women, using porn star voices, talking about flying. They direct you to flyoceanicair.com, so let’s go there.
Uh oh, that’s a bit more troublesome. It looks like someone hacked into that same video (not really) because they’re upset about people stopping to look for flight 815. The website find815.com flashes. I’m not sure how that fits into the timeline - unless the website was ‘hacked’ and no one bothered to fix it?
The find815.com website is a black screen that scrolls over and down - to more blackness. When I googled for outside information it looks like this was a mini abc game, and maybe it’s not running anymore. Or maybe I’m just not stealthy enough to find my way in, which would be ridiculous since I’m totally Sydney Bristow, CIA agent extraordinare.
Let’s go back to flyoceanicair.com. You can open the Oceanic Press Release, which I have now done. It was typed on December 28th of 2007, and it states that Oceanic will begin flying again on December 31st, to ‘nine markets’. A phone number is listed, if I had a phone handy I would call - it’s an 818 number, so I suspect it’s just some lame recording.
This next video I found on YouTube, it isn’t official, but it damn well should be.
Chilling, isn’t it?
Now, I found a video that’s supposedly from ABC.com which is a huge recap of the first three seasons of Lost, so if you watch it, you’ll be prepared for season four. You might also feel dizzy:
In the finale of season three Ben said, “Jack, making that call is the beginning of the end.” It’s sad because it’s true in the sense of - for the show, and for some of the castaways.
Oh, and as for that poster? There’s only twelve members of the cast on it, which could indicate several things. (Although in another poster there are 14 people.) There is also the skyline reflected into the water, which is probably L.A., but either way it is suggestive of the fact that they finally got off the island and were able to order some damn Diet Coke!
Until later,
Jessica for Sofachip.com

The find815.com site works for me! I didn’t have to do anything special.

It’s quite possible my computer just hates me. I’ve suspected this for quite some time. LoL!
