Good article. One correction, though: Mary Carey's mother is not dead. She's schizophrenic and did jump from a window but actually survived the fall and has even done some recent radio interviews with Carey. Jessica Sierra's mother, a heroin addict and prostitute, did die of a drug overdose, evidently the week Jessica was auditioning for American Idol.
