Party Hats on, please. It’s a Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reunion!

What we need are plane tickets to Los Angeles. Seriously. I predict a huge mass of fans conglomerating in L.A. in March. And I’d love to be one of them. But I’m too far away.
Point. I had one of those… Somewhere. I’m just so excited that I’m losing my mind among all of the details I’m trying to organize here. Okay. Focus. What I need is a flare gun, pizza with anchovies, slug-scented candles, a scary bunny costume, a sombrero, a zombie cat, leather pants, wooden stakes… do you know what I’m referencing yet? Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Come on. It’s only one of the best shows in the entire known universe. And it’s time to celebrate because the The Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles is having their Twenty-Fifth Annual William S. Paley Television Festival.
It runs from March 14 to 27, 2008. But March 20th is going to be one of the best days. Particularly at 7 p.m. Wanna know why? Go on, ask me why.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Reunion
Thursday, March 20 at 7:00 p.m.
These people will be in attendance:
Amber Benson (”Tara Maclay”), Nicolas Brendon (”Xander Harris”), Emma Caulfield (”Anya”), Eliza Dushku (”Faith”), Sarah Michelle Gellar (”Buffy Summers”), Seth Green (”Oz”), James Marsters (”Spike”), Michelle Trachtenberg (”Dawn Summers”), and Joss Whedon (Creator). Additional panelists to be announced.
See all of the guests: here. People from Pushing Daisies and Chuck will also be among those included.
That link also tells you about how and where to buy tickets. They’ll probably cost you $60.00 a pop. But that’s well worth it.
For once, everyone in a cast photo will be in attendance! Well, almost. Anthony Stewart Head (”Giles”) is not scheduled to attend, as of yet. Nor is Alyson Hannigan (”Willow”). And Seth Green (”Oz”) isn’t there… But the point is that normally Sarah Michelle Gellar never attends these types of functions. So this is a big deal.
We want to see ‘Buffy’ and her friends, and see the cast and creator interacting all together.
And, quite frankly we want them to announce they’re making a new Buffy movie. But I won’t hold my breath for that. Still, this is amazing on a level beyond the awesomeness I previously knew. Dear mind, consider yourself blown.
I’m a Slayer, ask me how.

Okay, I don’t usually go ga-ga over anything but if I were able to attend and saw THAT cast on stage together since 2003, I think I would actually faint!
God, I hope you have contacts to get a good summary and PICTURES!
