Libby-Related Rumors for Season Four of ‘Lost’

Very possibly spoilers for season four of Lost are below the jump! This is a follow-up to the article I posted earlier today about Libby.

I’ve found out that Libby was supposed to have a flashback episode in the second season. That didn’t happen, and then she was going to be seen in several flashbacks in the third season. That also didn’t happen. But Libby isn’t finished. And there is good reason to believe that in season four we might see her again.

In a Q&A piece from Entertainment Weekly with Lost producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, we learn that Libby’s mysteries are now planned to surface in the current season, season four. Lindelof said, “There’s really one significant missing piece to Libby’s story.” He went on to say, “We know the answer to that question, but the only way to tell that story is through another character’s flashback, and that character would have to be another character on the show who is not among the beach dwellers.”

That means that Libby might possibly be connected to one of the four new characters we saw in last Thursday’s episode. You can read my commentary for that episode here.
