Meat is the New Black on America’s Next Top Model : Cycle Ten

Cycle ten of America’s Next Top Model brought us an episode last night with the unlikely elements of a fire station, a runway, and meat panties. But not all at once. I mean, you’d look ridiculous wearing meat on the runway. You wear that in a warehouse while they take sexy pictures of you. Duh.

Last night the girls practiced changing quickly into some pretty cute firefighter-inspired outfits. After that, they did a runway show where they had to practice their quick changing. Lauren, one of my favorites, walked the worst. Jaslene, a former winner of Top Model, was there to critique the girls. She came down hard on Lauren in a commanding and snobby voice, asking her if she even wanted to be there. Lauren answered her with a punch to the face. (Just kidding.) If only.

Long gone are the days when Top Model shocks the girls by making them hold snakes. The photo shoot the girls did was in a warehouse, and they were wearing meat. When they were first told they were going to be wearing meat, I thought they meant only meat. So in a way, they lucked out - they only had to wear elements of meat, combined with clothing. Such as, meat panties, and a bra. Get the idea? Cause you don’t want to over-accessorize with your meat!

Either way, it was still gross. More gross than shocking. It was gross to watch, probably gross to smell, and gross to wear. A few of the girls pulled off nice pictures, other’s didn’t do so well. Fatima and Amis were the two up for elimination at panel, and Amis got the boot. She gave a nice exit, with no vocal hard feelings. Fatima made up or that by crying into Tyra’s bosom.
