Christina Applegate got Conan O’Brien to Dance

Christina Applegate was on Late Night with Conan O’Brien on Friday night. It was a pleasant surprise that I caught her since on most Friday nights I go out with my friend Snoop Dogg and we paint the town red and glittery. I know, my life is crazy!

She was there to promote Samantha Who? coming back on Monday, April 7th. I’ve missed the show, so I’m glad it will be on to give an otherwise (what I can assume will be) sucky Monday a little pep. Applegate seems very natural, and has no problem making fun of old fashions and hairstyles she had in the 80’s (I was young so I blame my Mother). Her good sense of humor matches very well with funny-man Conan. She did something that I want to thank her in person for - she told O’Brien she was sad abou the lack of the string dance, and - aren’t we all? So he did it. And villages rejoiced. Somewhere a baby panda cried for joy. And TiVo’s worked overtime.

I think I know who Applegate’s girl!crush is, Jessica Alba. That was the example of a hot girl that she gave. Oh, and she was very open about how she was certain a magazine had Photoshopped her stomach to be smaller. She also pointed out the way they placed words right next to certain body parts. Oh my!

When I saw Poppytalk.blogspot.com I immediately loved the header (I suspect the aid of Photoshop, or the dark arts). This post has me wanting to start collecting handheld mirrors so I can put the idea of hanging them above a couch, or bed, in use as is the idea there. Drat my younger sister who already nabbed my Mom’s vintage one. I think this would be a cool idea for Lorelai Gilmore (Gilmore Girls) to have done in one of the rooms of her Dragonfly Inn.
