Joshua Jackson Isn’t an Alien, So he’d be Awesome Just by Default

Tube Talk has the name of the next Gossip Girl episode: The Blair Bitch Project. I’m not so much a fan of the show as I am totally a non-fan, but I love when shows pay homage to fun 90’s movies. Of course, no one paid The Blair Witch Project better homage than Dawson’s Creek. I know you remember the episode - they go to the island with a film camera. It’s starts the very short period of time where Jen and Pacey (Joshua Jackson) try to be friends with benefits. Jen makes a potion or something to prove witchcraft does (or doesn’t?) work. Oh, and Joey (Katie Holmes) wore a really stupid hat in this episode. But seriously, it’s good. Go watch it. I think it’s season two.
Katie Holmes, you are a fool to have passed Joshua up for Tom Cruise. Yuck. At least Joey made the right choice. I wonder if they got married. I wonder if she changed her name and became Joey Witter? Also, sometimes I briefly wonder what might have happened to Pacey’s sister - Gretchen (Sasha Alexander). But then I remember that I don’t care.
Ahhh, I love Joshua Jackson. In fact, I just Netflixed a bunch of movie’s he’s in so I can have a JJ marathon (you’re invited if you bring snacks). *Big happy sigh* He may have been the most perfect boyfriend on TV ever. Not that he didn’t have his low points. But what, like you’re perfect?
So what else is going on?
The Great White Snark finally answered the question of who that guy on Reaper reminds me of. (His name is Tyler Labine - I checked.) Ah. No wonder I find him so lovably annoying. And! He is in this movie I’m watching as part of my Joshua Jackson movie marathon! (Coincidences are freaky.) It’s called Aurora Borealis. And - as another coincidence, that has a connection (the name - the Northern Lights) back to Dawson’s Creek.
In news that isn’t about Dawson’s Creek: either Oprah is dumb, or Oprah’s people are dumb. Or both. How do I know? Some things you just know! The point is that Mama Pop has a tidbit about hot Oprah tried to honor Maya Angelou by basically insulting her in the biggest way possible. (Hint: it involves a live parrot in a cage at her birthday party.)
Mindy from Too Much TV is (or was - she may be finished already!) having a Friends marathon. I think she hits on an excellent point - the show does cheer you right up. I can watch a repeat of the show at any time and I somehow feel like life isn’t just a vat of sludge, or something.
