Theories for the “Bones” Season Finale!
Ausiello has this on TVGuide.com: Get used to the name “Vincent Juarez.” I suspect we may be seeing a lot of him next season. He’s one of Dr. Brennan’s brighter grad students and he’ll be joining the Squints until Brennan can find a new full-time forensic anthropologist. The yet-to-be-cast character loves to lighten the mood in the lab, but he definitely thinks he’s funnier than he actually is. In other words, it’s Nicholas Brendon’s role to lose. In related news, does anyone know why Bones would be looking for a new full-time forensic anthropologist? Hmmm…
What?! Okay, it’s fair to make fun of Nicholas Brendon I guess because it’s true. But, this means that someone is leaving? I can’t have that. I’m unstable as it is with the lack of good TV, tell them! Tell them no one can leave! In other news…what should we call Ausiello? Like, the TV addicts crack dealer? That’s what he is. Although, preferably there should be a more pleasant association.
He has MORE Bones news for us, saying he believes something will happen to Zach: Sure sounds like it based on Fox’s official episode description for the May 19 season finale: “When a human jawbone shows up at the Jeffersonian, Brennan and the team quickly realize that the Gormogon serial killer has struck again. In a shocking turn of events, an explosion in the lab sends Zack to the hospital; Gormogon’s silver skeleton goes missing from the basement vault; and every Jeffersonian employee becomes a suspect, with the very real possibility that one of their very own may be working with the twisted and elusive serial killer.”
Theories…now, is Zack an innocent bystander, does he get killed, does he decide to leave, or is he the one working with the killer? I just can’t believe that could be true. Who else could it be? Hodgins? I can’t believe that! But those are the two who seem most interested in the whole Gormogon stuff…clearly I’m not, since I’m calling it ’stuff’. *Shrug*
I’d say maybe it was Cam (to guess someone you wouldn’t think), but then they’d be hiring a more boss-like person, yea?

I don’t think Zack is the serial killer. Gormagon seems to be concentrated around DC landmarks, so how would he recruited a YOUNG troubled Zack from Michigan?? I think he may be injured, enough to keep him off work for a long while.
I think Gormagon is probably one of those characters we’ve met but never really think about beyond them appearing in the scene in question. For example, one of the foster kids from the earlier episodes in the show would fit the bill so to speak.

I hope Zach isn’t going to die and I’m sure gormogon isn’t one of the squints or sweets, my money is on Bancroft…the guy from 3×06.

Well I think we can safely rule out Zack as goronzola! Namely because we have already seen the “apprentice” riding a motorcycle and causing booth and bones into having an accident… can anyone really think that Zack has the social skills for that sort of riding? Okay you say he could be faking it…. for three seasons? I think not baby puppy…
Most of the main characters with the exception of “Sweets” are in the clear I am thinking… Booth and Brennan are fine… Hodgins and Angela are having more of their relationship being written into the series and they still haven’t resolved the “Gravedigger” issue. If Jack was the G-man he would certainly have been all over getting the twot who buried him alive more…
Cam… Mheh… I just don’t see it…
I think it is going to be a periphery character who comes into it, or possibly sweets… (I have never trusted his smile anyway, it’s all too toothy!)

Haha, that’s funny that you mention Sweet’s smile. He does seem almost TOO nice! I feel bad he got dumped in the last episode. I can’t wait for more Bones episodes!

There are scripts here from the first episode of the 4th season and Sweets is apparently still counseling Booth and Bones.
Also, I pray with all my hear that Zack doesn’t die, or have anything to do with Gormagon.
But, then, why is there a new forensic antropologist?

I’ve always felt Sweets was just off. It’s all right to be interested, but he’s obsessed(sp?) with the murders. His research for a book is logical, but almost fanatical…Maybe I just don’t like him.
Taking the lesser of two evils, hopefully Zack will only be charged, but innocent (and still alive).

Sweets is suspicious, for sure. He seems to lack things in his life, not really having one…but even so, I think he’s a red herring.

If you read last week Ausiello post, you will know that 2 major characters will die in the last 2 episodes. I believe Zach willbe one of them because he is the son of a widow (I believe his father died), as the other Gormogon victims. I’m hoping Cam is the 2nd one, or Sweet, because I would cry like a baby if they killed Hodgins or Angela, they’re such a lovely couple….

They show Zach injured… but not dead. So a replacement… well- that means that you are still missing something. (I’m thinking Zach or Hodgins)
Hodgins: They talked about Angela having Chemistry with her husband… Which sounded like a good twist in the hodgins-angela relationship- but if Hodgins turns out to be goromon, it makes a lot of sense too.

Its deffinatley Sweets, im convinced. Yes his smile is far too goofey (i think they are fake as gormagon had pulled all his out). He’s sweet and likable and i think this is lulling us into a false sense of security about him, plus in one of the episodes where that guy was killed by another guy in the cupbord, it deffinatly wasnt Zack, he had dark hair and was tall! Im telling you its SWEETS.
