Milo Ventimiglia Brings Cheer

Read on to see my nerdly confession, my rant with AOL’s customer service, and hear about (and see) my new favorite TV guy (major crush factor) on Heroes’ Milo Ventimiglia.

Milo

I’m a nerd because when I get e-mailed surveys I usually take them. I think it’s all of that damn school standardized ‘fill in the bubble’ testing that makes me like doing that. It’s kind of zen. Anyway, not only do I do them, but I generally give nice marks and such. I don’t know why.

Well, I still have AOL because I’ve had it since (maybe) 1997 and I just can’t think of a reason to not have it - it’s like a security blanket. I just like to know that it’s there, you know? Maybe it’s because I never really had any kind of actual security blanket or teddy bear as a kid. (Technology is stealing our souls!) I did have a stuffed animal rabbit, but I didn’t sleep with it.

Anywaaay, I have been so DISTRESSED with how sucky AOL has been. Newsflash: AOL sucks now. (They have horrible customer service to boot.) It’s always being a frakkin’ jerk to me. And I know it’s time for us to break-up, but I just can’t do it.

It made me reinstall the entire program, so I did it. Then, all of my favorite places were gone. Not cool. They’re supposed to stay. (I respect when my dog won’t ’stay’ but this is a whole new level of insult.)

So I go into their live chat because no way am I calling and listening to elevator music - and the tech has only crappy advice and after wasting 40 minutes of my precious life, he still can’t help me. He sent me off with some suggestions. Well, I had a suggestion for him…ahem.

I got a survey in the mail for this interaction, and I grinned the grin of someone who feels in some feeble way they will have redemption or revenge or re - …something else with an ‘re’. The last time they tried to help me but knew they didn’t help - I didn’t get a survey. I am pretty sure that is their tactic. Anyway, now that my survey is sent and AOL is probably ignoring it, the only thing I can do is look at a picture of my Milo Ventimiglia to feel less annoyed.

Oh, there is he (again). He’s so cool. He’s like ‘don’t worry about it.’ And you know what? I don’t wanna worry about it anymore.

I kind of love him. A lot. A lot, a lot.

Milo

You know -I loved him on Gilmore Girls and was very sad (read: DESTROYED) when he left. Now he’s on Heroes, which I didn’t watch the first season and then was watching the second season — but it was annoying. (And even with Kristin Bell as Elle, I didn’t stick around for every episode.) Well, I decided to finally watch the rest of it, and I actually kind of like it. So, now I’m getting season one from Netflix! Tons of Milo greatness, I’m sure.
