Amy Sherman-Palladino, who was the creator of The Gilmore Girls, named her production company Dorothy Parker Drank Here. Rory was also seen on the show as reading The Portable Dorothy Parker. Ergo, I feel the quotes and images have a symbiotic bond of sorts.
