If You Could Have One of “The Charmed Ones” Powers - Whose Would it Be?

Charmed ran on the WB for eight years. That’s one more year than Buffy the Vampire Slayer. For that alone, I could be angry with it. I was never a huge fan of the show, although I’ve seen more than my fair share of episodes. I liked the concept, I liked the theme song (How Soon is Now by Love Spit Love), and I thought the Halliwell Manor was pretty gorgeous. I never invested too heavily in the characters, or their relationships. Perhaps the relationship I cared about was the one between the three sisters. (Both sets - since there was that whole pesky Shannen Doherty was a brat and they had to get rid of her and find a new sister. But who didn’t love Rose McGowan better?) Anyway, this equation has always made it a show that I can watch casually, just for fun.

If you’ve ever watched Charmed, you will inevitably ask yourself at some point: whose powers would I want?

Prue Halliwell had the power of telekinesis (moving stuff with your mind) as well as astral projection (projecting yourself - you know, astrally).

Piper Halliwell could freeze things, and make things explode.

Phoebe Halliwell had premonitions that let her see into the past and future (psychic powers, woo). Levitation was something else she could do. (Read: She could float.) Phoebe was also an empath for a while, letting her feel how others felt and read their feelings.

Paige Matthews, my favorite Charmed One, conveniently also had telekinesis. (She appeared after Prue died, as the long lost sister. I guess the show didn’t want to lose that power.) She was also a Whitelighter which let her orb. Orbing is basically being able to teleport, it just sounds cooler. Or maybe it doesn’t? Either way, these are the powers I’d want.
