Will We Wish that Peter Bishop (Fringe) and Elle Bishop (Heroes) are Related?

(No Ratings Yet)Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek) will be back on TV this fall, on the Fox show Fringe. The sci-fi show has J.J. Abrams named attached to it. Jackson will be playing Peter Bishop, a high-IQ’d dude who dropped out of High School and has some gambling problems. (I don’t know why I want to call him a dude. Maybe I’ve been watching too much Supernatural.)
The Hollywood Reporter says: “The two-hour $10 million pilot, directed by Alex Graves, centers on FBI agent Olivia Warren (Anna Torv) who teams with Peter Bishop (Jackson) and his estranged father, institutionalized scientist Dr. Walter Bishop (John Noble), to confront the spread of unexplained phenomena.”
Personally? I’m excited. I’m a big fan of Jackson, and the show’s concept sounds intriguing.
This show is not a crossover with Heroes, but I’m sure some creative fans will enjoy the name link of Elle Bishop (Kristen Bell) on Heroes with Peter Bishop (Jackson). I mean, come on, don’t make me be the only one! They could be twins, or at least siblings! He could investigate her, and then be all shocked (!) to discover the blood ties. This would lead him to challenge his role in life, his job, and his purpose. And vice versa - cause as much as we love Elle to be bad, she could find redemption! Do I hear fanfiction writers already typing?
