A True Haunting for the Winchesters

I am very much aware that this promo picture is for season two of The CW’s Supernatural (and we’re almost at the end of season three), but it has the right ‘feeling’ I want for this post. (Look under the jump for a fantastic season three promo picture someone sent me.) Did you see the latest episode of Supernatural, by the way? Anyone expect THAT death to happen? (Spoiler alert, stop reading now if you haven’t seen the last episode!) I still find myself wanting to find answers about Bela - how would a child decide she wanted to kill her parents? I don’t know why I’m defending her, but she didn’t kill anyone - a demon did it for her. Maybe she agreed without really understanding. Or maybe they weren’t as great as she says they were. Nothing came of Sam/Bella and that also makes me sad. I liked the idea of Sam having a crush. He deserves some love!
Anyway. For those of you who don’t know what Cedar Point is, it’s a large amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. It’s known for being the absolute best place for roller coasters. Even the girls on Gilmore Girls mentioned wanting to go there. Disney World might have more rides, but I don’t think even they can beat the coasters at Cedar Point. The place is amazing. And it has some interesting history. I recently stumbled upon a story about a haunting that is there that I couldn’t shake from my head. (There are three or four different hauntings that are commonly spoken about there, including a haunted carousel with a Military horse. It is believed that it has been replaced with a replica by now. But it is very popular. You can even buy a miniature Military Ghost Horse.)
The haunting I am talking about is one that occurs in the oldest portion of the Hotel Breakers. The story says that a young couple in love made a suicide pact to stay together, and decided to both jump from the balcony. The man jumped and fell to his death. The woman is said to have held onto the railing while falling, and saved herself. Females who walk near this balcony supposedly feel the man’s ghost pulling them towards the edge. Pretty creepy.
I would love to see the Winchester’s investigate this story, it could go in so many different ways. If anyone feels compelled to write a story/fanfic about this - please send me a link! And a link to this post on your piece would, of course, be appreciated.

Being creeped out can be kind of fun. It may not be Halloween yet, but there’s always time to look into planning a party. My friend, Brittany, has created a Halloween site, based on years of holding parties for younger children. A huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she’s made and used a sign of the one in ‘Halloween’ (season two) about Pop’s Pumpkin Patch. I recommend checking out her movie recommendations. I told her she should add Hocus Pocus - I happen to love it! My other two favorite pages are the pictures and the recipes. A true Scream Queen, Brittany knows her stuff.
A very generous person, Dragyn, sent me a high quality picture of a season three poster that I don’t see around a lot. Which is a shame, because it’s a gorgeous picture for the series. I took an instant liking to Dragyn when she made note that Supernatural is, “The best kept secret on network television.” Can you argue with that? The picture is below, click it to see the larger version. Many thanks to Dragyn!

She decided to kill her parents because her dad was molesting her. It was hinted in the episode. And her saying they were great was said with sarcasm.

I don’t know if you noticed this but there was a scene in the most recent ep of SPN with young Bela sitting on her bed crying and her dad walks in and closes the door behind him and you hear her crying a bit more. I believe it was supposed to insinuate she was molested by her father. I’m assuming she wanted mum dead because she “knew and did nothing” as the cliche’ goes. Kind of a lame backstory for Bela but whatever! I just hope someone finds her cat!

Ah, I have no idea how I missed that. I think I was very sleepy, but determined to watch SPN ‘THEN!’ as opposed to later on. Ty both! I feel bad for Bela.
I love cats, so omg — I hope someone does! Maybe Bobby would like a cat.
