So You Think You Can Dance takes a dig at Dancing with the Stars (Dance off Time?!)
I don’t think I’ve commented on a commercial on Sofachip yet before, but now I must. I simply must! Last night, bleary-eyed and ready for sleep, I heard a commercial that made me laugh. It was for So You Think You Can Dance, on FOX tv. Their spot went something like this: “No B-list Celebrities here!” That’s a dig at none other than ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
The question becomes very clear here: Would you rather watch semi-talented celebrities (to various degrees) dance, or unknown people dance awesomely? Seriously, I wanna know! Which would you recommend someone to watch?
The ratings might actually be interesting! If only they ran against each other!

I watched the first season of Dancing with the Stars and enjoyed it enough. But by the time the second season rolled around, not so much.
However, I DO love dance compeitions of unknowns doing their thing. The “B-Celebs” are only on there to get their face back out there. Unknowns love their craft and usually put on a good show so I would rather watch “So You Think You Can Dance” over “Dancing with the Stars” any day of any week.
Then again, I’ve always watched “SYTYCD” from the start.
MTV’s “Best Dance Crew” is a lot of fun, too. I recommend it when it comes back in the summer
