Test Those Ever Important Pop Culture Mind Muscles: Guess this movie with a TV cast!

In honor of Memorial Day, it’s time to play a game. Try to guess what movie I’m talking about while I describe four of the actors/actresses that were in the movie. Okay? Ready, steady, go!

1. Currently I have a TV show on FX. I married someone I met on a movie set. I was almost one of the Desperate Housewives. I’ve been in a movie with Jim Carrey and in another with Adam Sandler. I was on a popular NBC sitcom that ended in 2004. …Who am I?

(This segue is going to rock.)

2. In 2004 I got a job playing a doctor on TV. Leonardo DiCaprio’s onscreen lover with red hair went blonde (not Kate Winslet - the other one) and short to be mod with me. One of my costars plays a Christian man who has an Australian accent …Who am I?

(This segue also rocks.)

3. I was born in Australia. I’m marrying a talk show host. My hair is very long and blonde. I was a series regular on two TV shows that both had two names. Both of these TV shows began with an ‘A’. …Who am I?

4. I’m a former ballet dancer (I’m not Summer Glau!) from Canada. In the 90’s I was a star on a family drama on Fox. I was in a movie with Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards. In 1998 I was on People’s most beautiful people list. You might have seen me singing and dancing in a recent musical that featured Heroes’ Kristen Bell. If you like Losts’ Matthew Fox, you should know that I’ve worked closely with him. …Who am I?

Can you guess the movie? I’ll be posting the answers tomorrow, on Tuesday! Giving the answers now would be too easy, and they never do it the easy way on American Idol!
