I can’t watch True Blood here…we don’t have it here yet…BUT…

Did you just diss my boyfriend Chace…no you didn’t… LOL…Ed/Chuck sure looks douchey though…I think everytime I look at him I puke a little in my mouth…I’ve called him greasy on more than one occasion!

I haven’t seen the pilot yet. As previously stated, I can’t warm to Anna Paquin so I was pretty indifferent. But, you’re right, the blonde with super powers is kinda Buffyish. BUT, that said, I’m sure the whole reason she had to go blonde was b/c that’s usually who your hero/heroine is. Starting from the 50’s (or perhaps earlier) the main hero character of any American media is a ‘blue eyed blonde’, whether it be Steve Rogers (Captain America) or Buffy. So…*shrug* Anyway, sorry you’ve gone off it. That sucks :/

Hehe.

I have bad news, I’ve decided that while I like the tone and cinematography of True Blood, after watching the second episode – I’m done. I don’t like any of the characters. And while I know they aren’t directly copying – the whole ‘a blonde girl you think is meek but really has super powers – and a vampire who falls for her’ seems very Buffy to me in a way I can’t ignore. And everything is so cliche. *Shrug* So I’m done with it.

You’re right, people *CoughTwilightfansCough* are clueless when it comes to the decisions and angst over hair and costuming, let alone casting. Now, obv. I dont watch Gossip Girl but that guys screams teh gay. In fact, they ALL do. Are you sure this just isn’t a reworking of Queer as Folk? ;p
