I don’t know how or why some people are still undecided about this election, ’cause WHAT are you waiting for exactly- a lightening bolt to hit? Fair enough! Well. For people who are still unsure, PinkSheepOfTheFamily.com has a great post about Five Reasons to Vote for Barack Obama. Let’s not screw our country over this time, mmkay? The thing is, I possibly wouldn’t even be SO against McCain if Palin wasn’t his VP. Which is all sorts of ironic sense I believe he picked a woman to steal the ‘Hilary’ voters aka lots of women. I’m a woman. But, with a brain.
And because I can, I’m going to segue into mentioning the MTV show Paris Hilton’s My New BFF which you can watch online on MTV.com. Only - DON’T. I finally watched the first episode (well, they tricked me - it was two put together I think). As much as I’m ready to admit that Paris Hilton isn’t so evil, this show isn’t good. The contestants are all so annoying and vapid, that it actually made me feel ill. I feel embaressed for them all, and sad that Paris is supposed to pick someone from this group. I think there was one nice girl, but they never pick the NICE girl - she’s just a gimmick to show a ‘range’. In conclusion, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF is VERY VERY BAD. The only thing I liked? The silly little theme song snippet that comes on after commercials which reminded me of a cheesy show Daria would have watched.
Kate Beckinsale - when does she not look amazing? Never. So that’s why I’m posting a picture of her! It’s from the Stars 2008 Benefit Gala.

Obama’s an asshole. If he was so ‘great’ why are there ‘Democrats for Republicans’? The man is a power hungry duplicitous jerk with lofty ideas but with zero clues on how to implement his faux dreams. I am, frankly, ASTOUNDED at how people cannot see him for what he is. I’m disappointed in you telling your fellow Americans HOW TO VOTE, Jessica. Let them vote how they please.
Sorry to rant. It just seriously irks me how blind people are. *sigh*

Obama is who I think is best. I’m not telling them how to vote with a gun to their head. There are as many ‘Republicans’ for Obama as there are ‘Democrats’ for McCain. I watch the news and see how church leaders say lots of people come to them - specifically Catholics, wondering if they have to vote for someone just because they’re for abortion or against, etc. People are confused, and the facts are hard to find. It irks me to see people so blind, as well. Only we seem to have different ideas about who the blind people are.

I am a Republican for Obama. Due to the 5 reasons outlined in the linked article, I will be crossing party lines to cast my vote for my first Democrat just like Colin Powell, former Secretary of State under George W. Bush. The Bush administration has forced us to seek answers elsewhere. Please don’t take offense. Jessica is merely sharing information. Thanks for linking the post.
