Admission: I Like a Slipknot Song

I like the slipknot song Vermilion part two. Actually, I don’t entirely dislike the original Vermilion song, either. I’m really not a big fan of screaming or yelling in songs, but this song is pretty good — with minimal yelling. The video for that song is scary, though. So be warned. And that’s not just because of their masks.

The masks also appear in the video for Dead Memories, but if you listen to the song – it’s good. The song Dead Memories appears on the album All Hope is Gone, released on Roadrunner Records. Corey Taylor, the vocalist for the band, has been quoted as saying of the record that, “It’s going to rip your face off.”

Well, I’m pretty fond of having my face attached. I also don’t think that slipknot music will do anything to it. In fact, I think Taylor’s words are more for show and to be tough than being accurate of the album. Uh, but don’t tell him that – I don’t want to get hurt. You probably won’t be finding me ordering any slipknot albums for myself, or as Christmas presents. However, If you see me buying vintage My Little Ponies…well, just let me do what I want! And while I do my daily googling (oooh, diiirty), I might just be listening to a little Slipknot. Look ma, people can change!
