The Many Looks of Style Superstar Sophie Ellis Bextor
She exudes the sass and class of a Bond girl, she’s my pick over Victoria “Posh” Beckham, and she’s so ridiculously stylish I can’t stand it! She’s Sophie Ellis Bextor! From hair that has ranged from spunky red, traditional blonde, romantic brunette, and futuristic-sleek brunette – she’s done it all! She’s had many different amazing looks – to copy or just admire. When I first listened to her songs I thought it wasn’t for me (can I sell my soul out to such shallow pop?!). But it made me feel happy – as pop music does tend to do. I respect her, and like this music much more than something from Jessica Simpson (gag much?). So I officially declare myself a fan of Ellis-Bextor.

Great post. I’m glad you liked Sophie. She’s a brilliant performer, one of the best musicians from UK. Not only is she a singer and songwriter, she’s also a model (currently the face of Rimmel, formerly the face of Monsoon), she’s a DJ (she runs her own club Modern Love), she’s a social activist, she’s an actress (although she’s acted only in one musical as a supporting role, she was actually auditioned for Moulin Rouge, and the bond movie Die Another Day used her name to hype the movie)
