Natural Soap’s The Thing!

Honey Milk Body Bar

Honey Milk Body Bar

One time my friend handed me a misshapen rectangle with a dip in the middle. Unimpressed, I opted to hand it right back to her. She insisted I try it though. I wasn’t sure, so first I clarified that it was what I thought it was – soap. And because it was already used 90%, I wasn’t inclined to be excited. Yay, soap? That’s why I was surprised by how much I ended up loving it. My friend told me I could order my own by googling for Cocoa Butter Body Bar and/or Best Bath Store natural soap. Which I, of course, did.

Looking more into this site, I only like it more and more. It’s a good thing when you can read an ingredient list and there aren’t twelve-syllable words that you can’t pronounce. Best Bath Store makes organic soap with ingredients like olive oil, goat’s milk, vitamin E, Grapefruit seed extract, and Cocoa butter. This whole green beauty ‘trend’ is big for a reason (it’s not just a trend) – because it helps the planet, AND you.

I really like that on each natural soap page you can click on each ingredient name and learn more about each one. It’s super simple to feel like an expert! I recommend the Lavender Body Bar – at least that’s the one I plan to try next. I’m watching season six of Buffy the Vampire Slayer right now and I am sure that Tara (Amber Benson) would love these.
