Smile for My Camera, Everybody Say “J’Aime Paris!”
I recently told you guys how one of the movies I love is 2 Days in Paris with Julie Delpy. Well, not to give any spoilers away, but at one point early on in the movie Delpy’s character is talking about taking photos (she’s a photographer with an eyesight problem). She points out that taking photos makes you an observer and does in fact take you out of ‘the moment’. Which is something I’ve realized whenever I spend an entire trip (whether it’s to the beach or around the block) with my camera poised. And because of my frugal nature I haven’t updated my digital camera yet – so it is pretty slow. What a pain it is.
If anyone else is suffering from this (and boy does a slow digital camera eat up batteries) then let me refer you to BestInClass.com. If you head over to their page designated for point and shoot digital cameras you’ll see, if you didn’t already know, that these are probably the easiest digital cameras to use – ever! Or at least for now, until we’re living in outer space.
If you’ve previously put off buying a new digital camera (like moi), this page can help you. Recommendations from people who are professionals and people who are just ‘normal’ like me make me like this site. I like to know a little bit of what each think is best, and hopefully find something they both agree is good. One hundred and twenty two unique reviews gives me trust in a product, and I don’t think that makes me gullible!
And of course you can sort through options based on the price and all that good stuff. The best part might be that they do price checking for you and tell you where you can buy the camera for the cheapest price. Gotta love that, right? I do.

I really wanna know: Do you smile for photos with your teeth showing or no?
