My Favorite Car is the ‘67 Chevy Impala
If you had asked me what my favorite car was in high school I would have told you it was “a Firebird”. Now, I don’t know what a Firebird even looks like, but it was the one name of a cool car that I knew. Of course, I’m not even sure how cool it is. The point is…I don’t know cars. I still don’t.
Although I do have an honest-to-goodness favorite car now, an Impala. Preferably a ‘67 Impala. This is because that’s the car Dean Winchester drives in Supernatural…yes. I’m not alone in this love, many a fangirl are loving the Impala now. And should we feel guilty that we love it for an obvious reason? I say no!
I’m not sure that I would buy a car online, but the girly-shopper in me likes the idea that you can browse for a car online without dealing with sleazy salesmen: TheCarConnection.com. Whether your style is pickups, Fords of any kind, or a nice ol’ Honda – you can browse sites pretty easily. It’s easy to type in ‘Impala’ and see all of them…although there aren’t any 67’s around that I can see. Sigh. Not like I’d buy it, but you know. Just looking! A girl can dream of driving off in an Impala with Dean Winchester, can she not?

I would probably like a car called THE KITTEN, so…yea. Lmfao. Ferocious.
Impala action, or action in the Impala, Taylor? *WINK*

I’m with you. The Metalica is full of dreamy sigh goodness. I like that she’s the only woman for Dean. The season 3 dvd’s came with a mini impala that I carry around with me as a good luck charm.
I just love all the little scenes where he pets her or is happy to see her. Not to mention how heartbreaking it was when Dean had at her with a crowbar.
I saw an article about Papa Winchester’s Truckzilla too. She’s actually owned by a fan now. Pretty cool.

Oh like that part in Family Remains when Dean got so mad that they took the air out of his tires. It was so adorable!

Why can’t I spell my name?? LOL

That is awesome that a fan owns Truckzilla now! I wonder what will happen to the Impala. Put in a museum or left for someone to drive? Hm…

I think they said they have something like 5 of them. I kinda hope Jensen gets to keep one.

I am NOT a car person, either.
In high school, whenever people full of I-just-got-my-driver’s-license excitement would talk about their dream cars, I would always say my dream car was one with wheels and a functioning engine. Now my dream car is a Toyota. lol. I’m so practical!
I went to college with a guy who said if he ever won the lottery, his first purchase would be General Lee from The Dukes of Hazard. His second purchase would be the van from The A-Team.

LMAo Kerstin. That guy is…wowza.

I have to admit, my favorite car used to be a ‘67 shelby fastback but then when I saw Dean’s Impalla I instantly fell in love.
It’s a gorgeous car and you can’t go wrong with it in black with the black leather interior, gotta love it

on classiccars.com there are plenty of ’67s. A few on there almost made me cry what with the crappy conditions they were in…

Alison, the Mustang is as terrible car!!!
I’m restoring a 67 Impala 4dr 327 4bbl (so far with a new lower rotating assembly with JE forged pistons, 11.5:1 comp ratio, 194cc closed chamber heads, JE push rods, holly street dominator intake manifold, holly 750 cfm double pumper carb with 1″ spacer with NOS/Ethanol injection ports, home made shorty headers and soon to be a Garrett T4 turbo) pushing 500+ horsepower. current 12 bolt open rear is soon to have 4.11 detriot locked gears, 2 speed powerglide slucsbox has been replaced with a THM 350 with shift kit. She’s (her name is the Howitzer, after the American cannon and muntions company in WW2) still under restoration, but anyone interested in pictures or chat email Jake at hakker1313@hotmail.com

I didn’t mean to trash the stang
Sorry
It’s not my favourite car (I loathe all ford products. Which is why I work at a Chevy dealer lol) And thank you VERY much
Email me and I’ll reply with some pics
When is the 4th season coming out?
p.s. I will race any Mustang with ten-to-one odds Howitzer will win
Of course there’s always gonna be someone who can beat you, but the “average” Stang I’ll take in the 1/4 mile
