Chick Flick Territory Knows No Bounds
Given that I’ve been watching a bunch of TV from BBC America, and desperatley wishing to become English (without having to drink tea – ugh) it makes sense to me that I would gravitate towards a UK site for movie reviews. Or film reviews, rather – that is more classy, and more English! I’m speaking of the site TheFilmReview.com.
The place looks like it’s still growing and finding its feet, but it has some solid content. Even though the review for the Jennifer Garner and Matthew McConaughey movie Ghosts of Girlfriends Past isn’t a very positive one, I must admit I’ll probably Netflix it when it comes out on DVD. Hehe.
This is coming from a girl who saw Made of Honor on her Netflix Watch Instantly and felt compelled to watch, even when it was clear the movie had nothing good working for it. (It’s so, so terribly horrible!) Ah well, chick flicks are nothing if not brainless fun! Well, at least I can confidentally say that I doubt I’ll see Fired Up.
