Tim Kring is Promising a Great Season Three of Heroes

Kristen Bell Rocks

The above is the cutest new picture of Kristen Bell that I’ve seen. Then again, she always looks adorable/cute/beautiful. You can check out more pictures from this photo shoot you can check it out at the wonderful French Kristen Bell fansite Kristen Fanatic. Luckily you don’t have to speak French to see the pictures. Bonjour? Ca va? …Aaaand, I’m out of French phrases! Awesome.

If you’re a fan of Heroes then you know Kristen Bell as the sociopathic-yet-still-lovable Elle Bishop. TVGuide.com has an interesting piece on what we can expect for Heroes season three. You can read that here. Heroes is going to be having a three-hour series opener. The first hour will be a Q&A, but that’s still a lot even if you don’t watch the first hour. Then again - why wouldn’t you watch all three hours? Psh. I’ll be taping it! And to answer your next question, yes, I am seriously that old skool and I don’t have a stupid Tivo thing! Sadface. Sadfase. (Which spelling of that is cuter?)

ANYWAY! From the aforementioned article we learn that Elle Bishop will appear “in the second half of two hour premiere”. I want to see lots of Elle this season. I mean, not in a dirty way. You know what I mean.

There is an interview with Bell in The Official Heroes Magazine (issue 5) that you can read here.

More Heroes stuff later on, okay? In the meantime, 30 Rock with Tina Fey must be watched voraciously. And I do mean literally WITH Tina Fey. She’s on my couch right now, eating all of my Flipsides crackers. Bitch. Rawwwr. Okay. Where is my Diet Coke? I feel depleted of energy and, is my head supposed to feel like it weights 684 tons? I think I have yet another migraine coming on to make this day super fun. /end sarcasm.

Totally Obsessed: The Tudors, Secret Diary of a Callgirl, Supernatural, and WAY More

Hello! I decided to interview myself. (Yes, you read that right.) That’s just the kind of wacky thing I do. That’s how I got my nickname ‘wacky-doer-of-things-Jessica’.

Sofachip: So, Jessica, what is it that you’ve been watching these days - besides what you’ve mentioned on Sofachip already?

Jessica: A crazy amount of goodness that fills me up with all the angst, joy, and vitamins I need.

SC: But you didn’t answer - What exactly have you been watching, though? What did you watch today?

Jessica: Fine, fine. I’ll speak. I currently have Supernatural season one on DVD which I’ve been watching and just flat-out adoring. I just watched the Bloody Mary episode about an hour ago. See, I had seen most of the first half of the season, but not the rest. I saw the majority of season two, and all of season three. So I wanted to go back - it’s very rewarding to have seen the recent episodes and then go back to the initial ones and see how it all started. Also, these DVDs are honestly possibly the best DVDs I’ve ever seen in terms of TV shows on DVD.

SC: Why is that?

My First Look at the July 14th ‘Saving Grace’ Season Two Premiere: “Have a Seat, Earl”

Holly Hunter is a Ferocious Femme in TNT’s Saving Grace

When you’re an avid TV watcher, you won’t make time for something that isn’t good. So first, let me make something clear - I am an avid TV watcher. Next, let me tell you what I just watched: Saving Grace (season two, episode one: Have a Seat, Earl). You can all watch this episode premiere on Monday July 14th, on TNT (10/9 C).

But, unless you are already a fan (and I know there are plenty of you!) maybe you’d like to know why I’d recommend watching. I mean, unless you’re here for advice on changing the oil in your car? Since my knowledge of cars extends only slightly past how to maneuver a bumper car for maximum bumping efficiency, let’s talk about the show. I’ve gotten to preview the first episode, courtesy of TNT. The pictures are also courtesy of them.

Music That Stirs Bones and Lifts Spirits Previously Devoid of Passion (Mason Jennings is ‘In The Ever’)

I’m finding it frustrating to find a way to write this post, so all I can do is first tell you that. The frustration is eating my soul! And if I was still a teenager, I’d probably be ‘eating’ (biting) my fingernails. Trying to focus…trying to focus…*spins around in chair* What is my point here? Well, I’ve discovered a musical artist (maybe you know him, chances are decent that you don’t yet) that I’m so happy to have found that I want to share him with you guys. A name might be helpful, and lucky for me he does have one: Mason Jennings.

If you ask me, that’s a wonderful name. Then again, after Callum Blue (another great name) played ‘Mason’ on Showtime’s Dead Like Me, I’ve always loved the name. (Oh! Need a good TV show to watch for summer cause reality TV is (generally) so devoutly suck-worthy? I highly recommend Dead Like Me - The Complete First Season)

I’m listening to Mason Jennings MySpace right now, and have been for the past three-ish days, so let me link you there so you can listen now. Mason Jennings MySpace

Ever hear a song on the radio (some of us still listen to that) and rush to copy down some lyrics so you can google the song and artist later? I do that. That’s how this particular discovery happened.

I guess the word I want to use here is, impressed. I’m so wholly impressed by ‘the entire package’ as they say. The music, the lyrics in the music, what he updates his MySpace with, how he speaks and what he says (i.e. his mind) in interviews… I can firmly say that this is who I believe to be a musician of gratifying substance.

The song I heard on the radio that made me go ‘hey - I need to find locate this, drop everything else stat!’, was Continued

My Annoyed Report: Dina Lohan Gives New Meaning to Momzilla on Living Lohan

At a glance: My initial reactions to Living Lohan. and why I say don’t bother ever watching. Also, a valid question for you about the tabloid-darling Lindsay Lohan.

Living Lohan, Dina and Ali pictureDespite the fact that I don’t like (most) reality TV, sometimes I watch it. I’m sure you’ve been there, too. You’re bored and curious (which is what these shows are banking on) so you up with you laying on yan unmade bed, beverage nearby, cat nuzzling your legs, watching some. I mean, it just happens. And I have deemed that the only healthy thing I can do to expel and rid myself of it is to talk about it. I’m condensing my thoughts, otherwise it might have ended up being a big ol’ rant-a-palooza. For those curious of this particular show, I just want to assure you that there is nothing good that you’re missing here.

Oh, what did I watch? (Kind’ve an important detail.) I watched the first two episodes of Living Lohan, called Mommy Will Fix It and Burning Down the House. I am pretty sure that life has ‘hardened’ Dina Lohan, mother of the famous Lindsay Lohan (perhaps greatly because of the fame game and trials Lindsay has endured). However, I think that even without that aspect, Dina would not be someone I would like or enjoy being around. Abrasive, loud, obnoxious, stage mother, deceptive…I just can’t think of any nice adjectives for her. (I’m sure she has some, but the show doesn’t highlight them - that’s not what would sell.) I think she tries (and believes that she is) being a good mother. And okay, it’s not like I won’t give any points for that. Although, exploiting children is in my book of ‘never okay’. So in a show about three people, there are two I feel are off-limits.
