After two episodes, I’m officially DONE with True Blood. I was on board with the moody cinematography, but other than that I liked nothing. I couldn’t find a way to be interested, which is kinda crucial, you know? There’s just too many predictable scenarios (which is saying something when the show is greatly based on vampires - not your run of the mill topic) and I don’t find myself warming to any of the characters. Plus, a blonde with something special about her and a vampire that falls in love with her? We’ve been there before and it was done much better (see: Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Also, anytime the vampire, Bill, said ‘Sookie’ it made me cringe. (Like ‘SuuhKie’.) So, no more of that.

Anyone else have a problem with Heroes Claire Bennet saying she could always feel pain in her life before, but after being Sylarized, she can’t? If she could feel pain in the first two seasons, then why did she never look like she could? You can’t expect viewers to think that none of those injuries hurt enough for pain to read on her face. Tim Kring, be honest - this is a new idea you wanted for Claire to have a powerful story arc, but one that doesn’t exactly work with what you’d established! Oh well, no one else seems to care. But seriously, look at season one - Claire never even FLINCHES at things that would make most people wail in agony. Myself, included. Then again, I start crying if I have a splinter. (Shut up, I have a very low threshold for pain!) Look for an upcoming fun fashion post on SofaChip.com, featuring Hayden Panettiere.

Pushing Daisies and Chuck were fan-freaking-fantastic this past week. Remember that you can watch Chuck for free online at NBC.com.

Supernatural was okay, although I’d been spoiled as to what would happen. I’m guessing the next episode will focus on Sam and Ruby. Oh! And did I ever mention anything about The Office from the week before? JIM AND PAM!!!! YES, so romantic. I was in Urban Outfitters the other day and they have tons of random stuff based on The Office like word magnets and notepads that say ‘I love Jim’. Time to buy Christmas presents. If I could finish my shopping BEFORE THANKSGIVING, I would feel proud.

Movies News and Updates:

The Sex and the City movie was a MAJOR letdown. It was depressing, and I felt like it shouldn’t have been made at all. Another letdown (though not as major) was Baby Mama. (I’m listening to the commentary now and I might like it better.) Sigh. How did that go wrong? Peeing in sinks should have made it golden (uh, that’s not a pun). I started to watch The Love Guru earlier but it was constantly gross (!!!) and seemed utterly pointless. So, it was clearly a guy movie. I joke! Instead of that, go rent The Guru with Heather Graham. It’s much better, and as far as I can tell the clothes are better. Guys will like it too, ’cause it’s based on porn. No, really.

My Top Five Favorite Guest Stars from Season Two of 30 Rock

5. Steve Buscemi as ‘Private Eye’. He likes to watch weird sex stuff, wants Jack to join his gym, and is so frugal he picks up discarded cigars. Yet somehow he does it in this interesting way that seems suave, not desperate. Watch out ladies/gents, this is the kind of guy you don’t ever want to date. Buscemi plays this P.I. as compulsively watchable, never the less.

4. David Schwimmer as Jared aka Greenzo. Oh, Greenzo. He was amazingly egotistical and annoying. Like any good Catholic, Greenzo believed that guilt was the way to change people’s actions. While trying to save the entire planet he set it on fire by mistake. Hey, it could happen to anyone. (Ross Gellar, who?)

3. Edie Falco as Celeste Cunningham (aka C.C.). A Democrat that uber Republican Jack Donaghy falls for. Oh, the comedy! They try to date, but if they were happy there’d be no story. Although she broke up with Jack, she did help save him in the episode “Cooter”, by approving a ‘gay bomb’. Now that’s love. The kind they write novels about and everything. It’s right up there with Liz’s, “I woofed my teamster sub for you” declaration of love. I think they should have that on bumper stickers, btw.

2. Will Arnett as Devon Banks. You knew him as Job Bluth on Arrested Development, and now we’re destined to follow his career and love everything he does like rabid fans who’ve had too many Red Bulls and no sleep since 1997. Devon Banks is hot for Jack McBrayer’s character, Kenneth, but his lust has to be put aside when he realizes that marrying into Don Geiss’s family means he might more easily become CEO of GE. Upon learning of Jack Donaghy’s recent heart attack, he gleefully says, “I’m going to make your heart explode.” My heart exploded for Arnett. But, you know, with love, and stuff.

1. Elaine Strich as Colleen Donaghy. As the pathologically bitter, high-maintenance, and jaded mother to Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin), Stritch took on a character that we love to hate (a relationship dynamic that is often echoed in many peoples lives with their own mother’s). She’s so mean, but we’re laughing anyway. Colleen Donaghy proves that mother always knows best, especially when it comes to Liz Lemon’s ‘happy’ family. Stritch won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series with this role in 2007. I loved her even more the second time around.

Cassie from Skins

I have become a huge fan of Skins, which airs on BBC America now. Hands down, my two favorite characters are Cassie and Sid, played by Hannah Murray and Mike Bailey. I seem to talk in a British accent after I watch an episode, which is fun for me - maybe less for anyone else around me.

Here are some random thoughts on Fall TV shows that have premiered or returned:

America’s Next Top Model: Oh man, it’s just the most shallow and petty season ever! I don’t know if I can watch it anymore, even as a guilty pleasure. I didn’t even watch it this week to be honest. Anyone else notice how they have no plus-sized girls this go around? Could that be because they finally had their first plus-sized winner so they feel they’ve filled that gap for now, and instead decided to make the ‘daring decision’ to cast a transgendered individual named Isis. I highly doubt they have any intention of letting her get too far, let alone win. My Dad says that whenever he sees the show he can just hear all of the girls muttering ‘Yes master, yes master, thank you master, you are wonderful highness, our oh holy one!’ to Tyra Banks from the way they scream at her every arrival and tremble at her presence. We should all host a reality show like this so we can boost our egos!

Fringe: What’s wrong with this picture? I was so hyped for it, and I feel it is falling flat! I love J.J. Abrams and Joshua Jackson, but as my friend Ali put it, the female lead seems like the ‘poor man’s Cate Blanchett’. She has ZERO presence on the screen. Everything plot-wise is very X-Files in nature and I gotta say, I don’t dig that so much. I like Jackson’s character for his snark, but I’m not feeling very excited by this show.

Supernatural: AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING. I watched it with surround sound, in a dark room. This is like, the ONE show on right now that I really get into and get excited by still. I just LOVED the premiere, I mean - loved it! Oh, our boys are back. One mental note I made was that while Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy on Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a pretty wimpy ‘crawling out of her grave‘ scene with like, one leaf in her hair - Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester was visually stunning as he crawled from his grave. The special effects in this episode? Oh man. Eyeballs burned from their sockets! CRAZY. And RUBY - oh, we were so fooled! ‘Cause she’s still around, and boy is Sam Winchester a liar! To his BROTHER! Ahh. And, ANGELS, GOD, WHAT? The show is taking risks and it’s awesome to the point where I’m going to need to make up new words to use instead of ‘awesome’. On a final note, cause otherwise I won’t shut up - I love how Supernatural continually, even in a major episode like this, manages to balance and INCORPORATE comedic moments with the dark, deep stuff. Sage and Rose on Privileged

True Blood: I had such low expectations that when I watched it alone at night it felt like a really fun, albeit sometimes cheesy, horror movie. I’ll watch some more episodes. I love the Southern-Gothic feel it has. Fans of Twilight who say this show stole the premise of those HORRIBLE BOOKS (oh dear God, I read the first book and it was the worst thing I ever read EVER EVER EVER) well, the answer is no. Unless you want to admit to Twilight stealing all of its ideas from everywhere else. The idea of a vampire and a mortal girl? Gee, where have I heard that before? Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Forever Knight, Moonlight - um, a million places? True Blood is better than Twilight.

Privileged: Cute, and I’d rather watch this than Gossip Girl. The CW seems to think we only want to watch rich people. When I thought this show was called How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls I thought it sounded so dumb, but I do like it now.

The 60th Emmy Awards are coming soon! When do the Emmy Awards air? On Sunday, September 21st! For Outstanding Comedy Series, The Office and 30 Rock are both nominated. They both have episodes nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, as well. The lovely and uber talented Tina Fey of 30 Rock is also nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. I will be watching the Emmy Awards, what about you?

Legally Blonde the Musical: The Search for the Next Elle Woods is over now, but you can still watch it on MTV.com. So I’ve been watching the show online as it streams, they have all of the episodes. It’s girly fun in TV form that I enjoy (not the dirty kind of ‘girly fun’ - hush, you).

What girly girl never wanted to be Elle Woods? Pink is fun and you have to admit it. I was always proud that I hopped on the Tiffany’s trend revival of the heart bracelet and necklace before the movie came out. (Suck an egg, posers!) So I had them before the time the movie came out and was over wearing them when everyone was crazy about wearing them like a uniform of jangly gems. Anyway, it’s always oddly thrilling when you seek out something and recognize it as great before everyone else is saying how much they love it. I do that a lot, so I may see if i can develop my apparent (amazing) psychic abilities.

Fact!: Haylie Duff was the host of this reality TV show, and I pretty much CANNOT take her seriously. She scraped fame off of her sister and she still doesn’t do very well. And, can we say the horrible truth? She has a very weird horse face. :X Plus, there’s the major annoying factor of her that just kind of seeps from her pores. So yea, eh. I wonder if she wanted the role but they wouldn’t give it to her.

The judges for the show were Paul Canaan, Heather Hach (who looks like Bones TV star Emily Deschanel) and Bernard Tesley. The winner was Bailey Hanks, although I think Autumn Hurlbert should have won (pretty unfortunate last name, though). Rhiannon Hansen, Lauren Zakrin, Natalie Lander, and Emma Zaks were also close contenders. Emma Zaks looked SO so so like Reese Witherspoon.

I’d scent this blog posting like Elle Woods scented her resume in the first movie, but that’s kind of impossible. I would like to randomly note that I recently purchased a wonderful, totally cheap, candle with a Moroccan Rose scent. It came in handy since I haven’t had power (electricity that is, I always have my psychic powers) since Sunday night! Ah, it was horrible. I did a lot of reading, attended a bonfire, communed with nature (I befriended a seagull AND a caterpillar), and decided I’d like to be a Zen Buddhist.

Confession: I know the first time I watched ‘hit MTV reality TV show’ The Hills I hated it and told you guys that, all the while mocking Heidi Montag ’cause that’s just fun. I still loathe Heidi Montag, but um…the hating of The Hills? It’s kind of been replaced with a bit of non-hating. It’s my newest guilty pleasure, I guess you could say. Although, I’d prefer if we keep this secret between you and I (and that creepy guy in the back). The latest episode to air was ‘Better Off As Friends‘.

I looked at the Wiki for The Hills and it seems like no one can confirm or deny if this show is totally real or not. While LC aka Lauren Conrad says it’s ‘really my life!’ Audrina Patrige is outting the show as having basically auditioned her for the part of Lauren’s friend and stuff. So, something is fishy there.

Also - it seems like the girls all have the same stylist. Except for poor Stephanie Pratt. Not only is she treated like utter crap by her brother, Spencer Pratt, but her eye makeup and poofy hair are not dealt with well. However - the way the girls all end up having the same hair and same nail polish colors reeks of a stylist putting this together so things match and that they’re following certain hair and makeup trends of the moment.

They always kind of group trends together, which is why we only had to deal with Buffy’s ‘poodle’ hair in season four of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for a few episodes that were all grouped together. Now, I know there are people who will say that the girls like Lauren and Whitney (Whitney Port, she’s the sweetest gal) share nailpolish and just like to copy each other’s hair (I totally want to copy this side braid stuff) but I don’t think they did it themselves, or even choose the look. Conspiracy!

The third episode of season four of The Hills aired the other night. Spencer was so glad to get Heidi alone, but once they were, he couldn’t wait to talk about LC and how much he hates her, and Stephanie, and anyone poor. He also totally emotionally abuses Heidi and man, that’s just like - I hope this is FAKE.

Stephanie Pratt tried to bribe her brother with gifts to make him like her which was so desperate and he was SUCH a jackass about it. She shouldn’t have to give him stuff to make him treat her decently. Of course he was the same amount of jerk when he was living at her place. She’s a doormat while trying to placate him.

Billie Burke as Glinda the Good Witch of the North

I clicked around and I stumbled upon an old black and white movie. Now, I am often an utter and complete sucker for these types of movies. I have a huge love for classic Hollywood movies. This movie turned out to be 1937’s movie Topper starring Cary Grant and Constance Bennett. Someone else who stared in madcap comedy movie was the actress Billie Burke, who played Mrs. Clara Topper. She seemed very familiar, so I headed to IMDB.com to confirm a suspicion I had brewing.

She was, in fact, Glinda the Good Witch of the North in The Wizard of Oz! It’s the voice, her face - everything. That’s how I just knew. I never registered Glinda as being old, but Billie Burke was actually 54 years old when she played this part. (Although, some sources say it was 53. Maybe she had a birthday?) This page has some facts about her.

Speaking of The Wizard of Oz, I finally got a chance to view the TV miniseries Tin Man. It was sublimely magical and cemented my love for Zooey Deschanel. I viewed these on DVD from Netflix, and if anyone else watched the interviews that were included- I’m wondering if you saw the one with Deschanel? It was oddly blunt, and I really enjoyed it. I think usually that would have been edited to death, taking out all the parts that showed her personality.

But first, I must bring your attention to the most amazingly amazing news of the week, in that Kristen Bell + Rob Thomas are ready to take Veronica Mars to that big ol’ screen at the multiplex. At least that’s what Michael Ausiello is telling us over on EW.com. Let’s hope this movie happens. Our poor hearts are fragile and easily broken!

House M.D.: Snark, snark, and even more snark. A must-watch, and re-watch.

Bones: Two strong leads, but you’ll love every character. Cooler than The Bone Collector with Angelina Jolie. Interesting stories to investigate. Never dull. Gets you emotionally invested. Good balance of light/dark.

Heroes: Superheroes, but not in unitards.

The Office: Hilarious, relatable, cute, will make you laugh out loud the way you always type ‘lol’ but never are actually ‘loling’. This will make an honest lol-er out of you.

Greek: Adorkable. Fuzzy. Warm. Sweet. Fun.

Pushing Daisies: For quirky romantics who like pretty things and pie.

30 Rock: Offbeat humor. Brings smiles! I want to be Tina Fey.

How I Met Your Mother: My generation’s version of Friends. Not appreciated as much as it should be.

Gossip Girl: Trashy fun. If playing in trash could be fun… erm? It’s like a bright and shiny Juicy Couture bag that you know isn’t your style but you want to buy anyway.

Chuck: Geek love + CIA agents. I can think of no two unique elements that are better fused together than in this show.

Project Runway: One of the few reality TV shows worth watching. Fashion is love. People may get catty, but at least we know they’re not morons. They’re talented, and snappy dressers.

Big Love: You think you’ll hate it when you first hear about the show, only you don’t. Addictive.

America’s Next Top Model: Can we say ‘guilty pleasure’? Ridiculous. Ridiculous. Ridiculous. To paraphrase a now infamous Twilight review: Watchers, you’ll hurl.

Lost: Mysterious. Innovative. Nothing like Gilligan’s Island. Which is actually a shame. But they make up for it with polar bears and…I’ve already said too much!

Secret Diary of a Call Girl: It’ll make you want to be a call girl even if you’re Amish. Don’t tell your parents that.

Vicarious Living Makes My Skin Glow

Let’s be clear, first off. Little ol’ me? I didn’t actually attend the San Diego Comic Con ‘08. But I have been able to experience the con in my own way (which I know can’t measure up to actually being there, but still). This got me thinking about how I hear people say that we’re less interactive as a society in this age, how we’re isolated, and so forth. But maybe those cheesy ads for companies with the message of how the Internet brings us together to communicate is actually more relevant than I’d realized.

For those of us who didn’t get to attend Comic Con, and let’s be honest - not every fan (or super fan) could go, we’re still able to find ways to appreciate it. From pictures that are flooding message boards and websites, items for sale on eBay, YouTube vidoes of panels, or even official panels - the Con has expanded past California.

As soon as NBC.com released official videos for The Office and Heroes I was e-mailed a link and I posted them for you guys as I watched. I watched the Supernatural panel on YouTube - and it’s hilarious so I advise you do the same if you’re even a semi-fan of the show. Oh, a certain spoiler I said here turned out to be a prank pulled by Eric Kripke! He got us good. Sabotage! (Anyone wanting info on Jared Padalecki’s upcoming film Friday the 13th can check out what Empress Eve wrote at GeeksofDoom.com. Very cool site, btw.)

I highly encourage you to check out what the amazing Cynthia at SFUniverse.com has written so far about the SPN (Supernatural) Con interviews she had. The Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles interviews are up to view so far. Stick around the site to read lots of other cool stuff. I keep thinking I’m not a fan of Sci-Fi, but then one of my friends will be like, “Hey, stop me when I name a Sci-Fi show you don’t like. Heroes. Firefly. Dollhouse. That Muppets in Space book.” … Okay, so I like them all. Is it time to start calling myself a Sci-Fi fan?

Dollhouse isn’t out yet, but I’m really pretty sure I’ll love it. At least I’m hoping I will. I have doubts that are trying to tug at me, but I’m not going to even consider them until I’ve at least seen one episode to start garnering some real opinions that I can back up with more than just news, possible spoilers, and a few previews that I’ve seen on YouTube. But, if you do want to indulge your doubts (and start bracing) Brian on SFUniverse.com has written a fair assessment of facts surrounding the show. Meeting Joss Whedon: The Man, The Myth, The Musical-Lovin’ Genius

Anyway, another aspect of the Con is hearing the the stories you get from people who were there. My friend, Myk, attended Comic Con and he had a very fun story for me when he got back. He was in the Watchmen panel, and as he was leaving he got a nifty surprise. Most people were too busy about rushing out to apparently spot Nathan Fillion or Joss Whedon walking out with them. To be fair, they were doing an inconspicuous act.

Here is his account in his own words:

We were leaving Hall H and it was so crowded we could barely move. I turned around and Joss was there. He has a carpal tunnel splint thing-ama-jig on his arm, and I went, “Hi Mr. Whedon.” He looked at me like ‘Awww,” and smiled and said, “Call me Joss.” I told him, “I hope your arm gets better.” Then he said, “It would make my arm all sorts of better if you had a lot of people go to my panel.” I laughed and told him to have a great Con, and he wished me the same.

Myk has a weird thing about addressing people very formally, he did it with John Barrowman from Dr. Who and Torchwood , as well. He met him at the Con and he called him Mr. Barrowman. In turn, Barrowman laughed and said, “Jesus Christ, I’m not that old handsome, call me John.”

Everyone Loves Joshua Jackson, Including Me

Myk said he saw Joshua Jackson there (among many other cool people). Jackson was there to promote Fringe. I recently was discussing this new Fox show with my friend Margo. I had a very philosophical approach.

If you’re a fan of Heroes then you know Kristen Bell as the sociopathic-yet-still-lovable Elle Bishop. TVGuide.com has an interesting piece on what we can expect for Heroes season three. You can read that here. Heroes is going to be having a three-hour series opener. The first hour will be a Q&A, but that’s still a lot even if you don’t watch the first hour. Then again - why wouldn’t you watch all three hours? Psh. I’ll be taping it! And to answer your next question, yes, I am seriously that old skool and I don’t have a stupid Tivo thing! Sadface. Sadfase. (Which spelling of that is cuter?)

ANYWAY! From the aforementioned article we learn that Elle Bishop will appear “in the second half of two hour premiere”. I want to see lots of Elle this season. I mean, not in a dirty way. You know what I mean.

HEROES MAGAZINE: Between Heroes and Veronica Mars, you’ve become something of a pop culture icon…

KRISTEN BELL: The thing about pop culture for me is that I would so much rather be on a show that people are wildly obsessed with than on a show that people just turn on because it’s on prime-time television. A a performer and as a creative person on a TV show, you want people to invest in your project. You want people to love it, not just like it. And as far as the coolest fans ever, which are some of the ones I’ve run into - I mean, it can get really intense, I’m not going to lie. The one thing that is different about those kind of fans - because they are so invested - more times than not, when they see you, they dot* really know what to do with themselves. Its not just, “Oh, that’s a person I watch on a television show;” it’s, “That’s the person I follow and am deeply invested in:” There’s a lot of shaking and sweaty palms and tears, but it’s precious. They’re all kind of funny and bizarre, but at the same time they’re lovely, because they’re coming up to you because they support you.

Finally, I’ll leave you with this New York Times interview with the series creator, Tim Kring: here. He acknowledges that season two was the suck, and he is promising we’ll love season three. Okay, I believe you. I just can’t wait for it to begin.

Sofachip: So, Jessica, what is it that you’ve been watching these days - besides what you’ve mentioned on Sofachip already?

Jessica: A crazy amount of goodness that fills me up with all the angst, joy, and vitamins I need.

SC: But you didn’t answer - What exactly have you been watching, though? What did you watch today?

Jessica: Fine, fine. I’ll speak. I currently have Supernatural season one on DVD which I’ve been watching and just flat-out adoring. I just watched the Bloody Mary episode about an hour ago. See, I had seen most of the first half of the season, but not the rest. I saw the majority of season two, and all of season three. So I wanted to go back - it’s very rewarding to have seen the recent episodes and then go back to the initial ones and see how it all started. Also, these DVDs are honestly possibly the best DVDs I’ve ever seen in terms of TV shows on DVD.

SC: Why is that?

Jessica: They give you the option to have the ‘previously on…’ recap on or off, which means that if you’re having a marathon like me, you don’t have to keep seeing them. But if you want to put on a random episode, or you want to show a friend an episode to try to entice them, you can play that easily. Also, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have a lot of great commentary on episodes. Too often stars of shows either can’t or won’t do commentary but the fans appreciate it SO much. I equally enjoy when someone like Joss Whedon or a writer does commentary to hear their insights about their craft and so forth. But I also like to hear from the actors I am seeing on screen. The Office also always has great commentary from people. Anyway, Jared and Jensen are awesome and you know, they have really sexy voices. So, yea!

SC: What else have you been watching?

Jessica: Oh my God - you know, I’ve been watching Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog online and I am SO unbelievably ready for the soundtrack! Neil Patrick Harris has this amazing voice - and Felicia Day sounds angelic. And I covet her red hair. Nathan Fillion is also giving one hell of a performance. After I watched the first act, I was going crazy, wanting to tell all my friends, and even complete strangers on the street that they should watch this. I think high schools should do this as a musical! It is so highly enjoyable and it makes me super happy when I watch it.

SC: Ah, yes. I know you wrote about your excitement for Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog before it began. I’m glad to see that it’s as wonderful as you anticipated it being.

Jessica: Absolutely, it is. Everyone I know is getting the DVDs of that for Christmas whenever they release them.

SC: Even your Grandma?

Jessica: Oh, yes. I think she could sing along to Felicia Day’s character of Penny very well! She also plays piano so she might make it a one woman show on Broadway.

SC: So, anything else you’ve been watching?

Jessica: Yes, yes, and yes. I think two weeks ago the library finally had my copy of The Tudors season one ready so I took that home and devoured it in less than four days. I love the costumes so much, and everything. Although I have to always keep myself from being pissed off at how women were treated back then. When I see it over and over, it’s upsetting on a more directed level than when you’d hear about it in history class for a minute. But history is important to know. I think Natalie Dormer is perfect as Anne Boleyn and Jonathan Rhys Meyers is also fantastic. I love whenever Callum Blue from Dead Like Me is on screen, as well.

SC: Speaking of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, did I see a copy of August Rush on your coffee table?

Jessica: Why yes you did. My sister told me it wasn’t good, so I was all ‘oh man, I don’t even wanna watch this’ - but I did, and I just have so much love for it. Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays such a convincing jerk on The Tudors that it was surprising to see him play someone nice. And the movie has Keri Russell who was Felicity, and I think is just fabulous. If you never saw Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion in the movie Waitress, you have to do that.

SC: Thank you, I will watch it again!

Jessica: Excellent. Maybe you will be encouraged to make some pies.

SC: Oh, I’m a horrible baker.

Jessica: Funny, me too. I set the toaster oven on fire once, so I try to keep things simple.

SC: Have you finished watching Party of Five season three?

Jessica: No. I’m savoring it slowly. I love the 90’s. So I watch it in my room with the lights off and immerse myself in the feeling that washes over me which is all nostalgia and memories of wanting to be Neve Campbell and live in an attic. Going back, I didn’t even remember that the character of Kirstin had suffered a major depression, and I find it interesting to see how they dealt with that.

SC: Hey, when you got The Tudors didn’t it have a free episode of Californication?

Jessica: It did. It looks like an amazing show that I’d like to check out more.

SC: That’s a lot of TV watching.

Jessica: Well, I’m talking about maybe going back a month here, everything I’ve been watching. I’ve just been doing a lot of things for myself, like reading. There’s too many books to mention, but I have to mention that I read the book by Hugh Laurie called The Gun Seller and it is one of the best books I’ve read this year.

SC: Man, I’m getting tired. Anything else?

Jessica: Weeeeeeeell, I’ve been watching The Starter Wife that you can watch online, and I finally finished seeing all of The Office season four. I’m in love with Jim Halpert. He would be the best boyfriend ever. Probably John Krasinski would, too. Oh! And I have been watching Secret Diary of a Callgirl with Billie Piper from Doctor Who. It reminds me of Sex and the City, and it’s very fun. I recommended it to my friend, Kerstin, and she has gotten obsessed with it as well.

SC: Do you have anything more to show us?

Jessica: That’s what she said. Ha! Ah. Michael Scott, I love you! Also, I want to start watching Weeds but I’m going to have to factor in a few hours for sleep eventually.

Jessica: Thank you. I have to go do some laundry now.
