The Most Important Notes to Know About The Lost Season Finale

Whether you missed the entire season and just want to know some key points, or you want to compare notes, you’ve come to the right place. I’ve gone over my favorite notes about the Lost season finale.

- Claire. Oh how I love her, miss her, and want her back around. I am holding out hope that she’s still alive. Somewhere. But if she was haunting Kate (unless it was a dream) she’s probably dead.

- Good Morning America aired two alternate ending scenes for the Lost season finale. They had made it sound as though these were two other possible endings. But in reality, I believe these were just shot to throw people off of the real ending. We all know who was really in the coffin, but there was a scene shot with Desmond in it, and one with Sawyer in it. We all know who was really in the coffin…

- It was Locke! And that… was pretty predictable. If you think about it logically, who else did all the characters dislike enough to not care if he died? Ben, sure. But then we saw Ben. And why would Jack ever care about Ben? When the season finale for last year aired and we saw the coffin, my guess (as with many others) was that it was Locke. PREDICTABLE. I don’t like Locke, so it’s not a big loss in my eyes - but, I also think it’s a cheat. If they take Locke back to the island, odds are the island will heal him.

- Speaking of, the island is sure pushy! Ben saying ‘the island demands all of you to go back’ - geez.
