If you thought I was done giving you Heroes-related news, I have to wonder how well you know me. Sure, you may know my birthstone and my favorite drink, but that’s not all there is to me! (I am so MULTI-LAYERED that even I don’t remember my real name anymore.) Besides, any good obsession has to be nurtured, or it’s just not doing anything! ; ) So, here we go.

I found an article on Eonline.com where Hayden Panettiere, who plays Claire Bennet on Heroes, talks about why Claire probably won’t have a love interest on the show this year. Guess I wasn’t the only person who didn’t like West, huh? Normally I’m a romance junkie, but certain shows can do without it. Heroes is a show where romance only needs to factor in very slightly, and it needs to feel natural, not forced.

Then (as I was stumbling blearily through the jungle that is the Internet) I found an interview between Milo Ventimiglia and Ryan Higa. If you’ve ever wondered how to pronounce ‘Ventimiglia’ then you’ll want to watch this. (I love his humor, and oh yea - he’s very handsome!) I don’t really understand why some people are not seeing that this is a joke interview. I don’t want to call anyone stupid…and yet I have to.

Fancast got the scoop on Milo Ventimiglia and Star Wars. When I read this I had to e-mail my friend, Myk, telling him that, ‘our two worlds are scarily merging and coming together, an apocalypse is perhaps forthcoming…’ (He: being a Star Wars geek, me: a respectable fan of Milo. Then again, we both like ewoks and Heroes. So maybe we’re truly the same, deep down where it counts. And yet, I’m still sure that I smell better than him. And really that’s what counts the most.)

I’ve never actually seen Entourage (WHAT?!) but I say we need to get Milo Ventimiglia and his friends Russ and Dino a show just like that. They’re all hilarious and sarcastic with the right amount of geek-lovability (is this not a word?) and intelligent wit. It’s actually a deadly combo. Today we have an exclusive Sofachip interview with Sherrie Sherwood, who owns and operates a popular Milo Ventimiglia community on Livejournal.com. I chatted with the friendly Aussie about Heroes, the ridiculous nature of tabloids, and Milo’s last name. Some of her favorite pictures of Milo are peppered throughout this post. Let’s go!

What year did you start the Livejournal community Milo_fans?

I started it 7th of May 2007. And hey, it’s been one whole year now! Aawww, I wish I’d caught that, I could of made a 1 year anniversary post.

Yes, most definitely my favourite actor. David Duchovny used to be my favourite, and I never thought I’d ever find an actor in my lifetime that I like more than David, but then I watched Heroes and David was pushed to second place. Other actors that I like besides Milo and David are Tony Leung, Cathrine Zeta Jones, and a lot of other actors.

I have an interesting view on Hayden Panettiere. I hate her one day, then hate her a little less the next. And this just goes on like that until I forget about her. But then, I walk in a store and see a pornographic image of her for a Candies ad and I wonder… What is it about Hayden Panettiere?

She’s like a stormtrooper glamazon Barbie. Or something. There’s no doubt that she’s beautiful, but often in a very commercial way. Anyway, today I feel a bit bitter about her. For two reasons:

#1. She called Paris Hilton a genius. “She’s a nice girl and a lot brighter than people give her credit (for) but no one sees her like that because she plays this character all the time. She’s actually a marketing genius.”

#2. On being cruelly bullied in school and tortured, she says: “It was very hard for me but I think it made me a stronger person and I’m glad that it happened.” Now, I was never cruelly bullied in school because I was a wallflower and I was too busy mentally insulting myself (anxiety and depression, yay!) on a level no one could match. But, I’m pretty sure that most people who get out of high school never want to go back if they had a bad experience. And we, we all say things like ‘oh, it made me stronger’ when we’re in a good mood and we can romanticize our pain away. But I know people who are still angry about high school things, and I feel bad - because it can be very difficult for teenagers. But for Hayden, every day is like the ten year high school reunion where she shows up and looks gorgeous and has a successful, gorgeous boyfriend. Most people, I’m guessing, don’t get that.

And just when I’m ready to be all annoyed, then I see this post from Faded Youth. She looks so innocent. So looks ridiculous in this completly stylish way, and that’s not easy to do. And that giant puffy coat paired with those (so not in fashion) giant Ugg boots and perfect hair makes her look like this distressed damsel that you’d just want to hug. I mean, crazy moms? I’ve been there. Hayden, you call me up and we’ll get some smoothies and talk out the pain, okay?

Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia. You hear those names together a lot these days, and not just because they’re both on the TV show Heroes. Love them or hate them, they are dating. Since I know some love that fact, and some don’t - I am going to accommodate you all! I have three pictures of them here, and I’ve made two versions of what they could have been saying in each picture. One version is for people who don’t like the relationship, the other version is for people who like the couple.

If you don’t like the couple:

Hayden: Oh God, are people seeing us together? This is really bad. I don’t want them to think we’re dating. No offense…

Milo: None taken. I’m just keeping my head down low, and hope they mistake me for someone else.

If you like the couple:

Hayden: Oh man, my lips are so chapped from all of that making out we did during the movie. Do you have my lip balm?

Milo: Let me check.

If you don’t like the couple:

Hayden: Hey, that is a really cute crystal duck, can we go see it?

Milo: No. Listen, I’m only helping you pick out a gift for your boyfriend for 20 more minutes, then you’re just going to buy him a giftcard. I can guarantee you that he doesn’t want a crystal duck.

If you like the couple:

Hayden: Do you think I’d look better with dark hair like that model in the Victoria’s Secret store window?

Milo: *Doesn’t even look, so sweet* No way, I love you and your golden hair. You don’t have to change anything.

IMDB.com has put out a list of the top 25 stars of 2007. The results are based on the searching that was done on the site this year, and if there’s any site to get that information from, this is it. IMDB functions as the biggest movie database. They list TV stars, as well. But not many TV stars made this list. Most of them are from movies, like Rachel McAdams, Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Cruise and Jessica Alba. The number one most searched star was Johnny Depp, if you’re curious.

But let’s focus on the TV stars.

Coming in at number 3 is Hayden Panettiere. I think her last name is very cool, but it’s so damn hard to spell! She was very cute playing Kate Hudson’s niece in the movie Raising Helen, but her fame was cemented on the TV show Heroes. She wasn’t on this list in 2006, and now she’s number three - that should tell you how fast her star is rising.

People seem obsessed with posting photos of her backside, but I’m actually obsessed with her hair. It’s so…shiny!

Coming in at number 18 is Katherine Heigl. She’s both a TV star and a movie star. You might know her from Grey’s Anatomy, or the movie Knocked Up. You actually might also know her from the WB TV show Roswell, if you were a teen in the 90’s. I also remember her from the movie My Father the Hero!

Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron from High School Musical came in at numbers 20 and 7, respectively. I think that’s all the TV stars on the list.
