Kristen Bell Looking Like Diane Kruger in a Creepifying Way
Kristen Bell (Heroes, Veronica Mars) in Peach Magazine looks eerily like Diane Kruger:

Speaking of Diane Kruger, as I understand it (and who knows how well I understand anything!) Kruger was going to be in Moonlight, but then backed out - seems like a good call since the show has now been canceled. And I completly understand why. Not even Jason Dohring could get me to watch that after two episodes.
Kruger dates Joshua Jackson, who will be in the new J.J. Abrams Fox tv show, Fringe. Yay! Two cute pictures of the couple after the jump.
You guys - let me know if the season three finale of Supernatural KILLEDYOUDEAD cause I am going to arrange some group therapy! Oh, Dean!
Today is a day to listen to Veruca Salt songs as loud as possible, wear green eye shadow, and drink sugary lemonade that makes you lick your lips after every sip. (Oh, and to catch up on Greek!)

Love is Happy, and So are These TV Fandom Videos
Here’s the third installment of the Sofachip Fanvid Appreciation Awards. Are you POSSIBLY freaking ready? This makes me feel like a DJ, almost. Which reminds me of the time I was living in a dorm room, and I’d call my friend who lived literally one floor down, and I’d pretend to be a DJ. Um…it as more fun than it sounds. Honest.
- BuffyAngelFan55 - Stronger (by Kayne West)
I pretend to hate this song but I guess I actually sorta love it, sometimes. This video is amazing. Buffy and Angel (Bangel) are true love x 80. I don’t know if this song is supposed to be romantic, and I never took it that way - but watching this video makes me see romance in the lyrics. I love that it’s got the action (WHAM) and then the tense romance (AWW) - even sexiness (YUM). Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and David Boreanaz (Bones, Angel) secretly love each other, that’s my theory.

Catching Up with Kristen Bell
The quirky and always lovable Kristen Bell is in Women’s Health Magazine for May 2008. I am crazy-happy to hear that she’s in constant contact and good friends with Veronica Mars alum Ryan Hansen (and his wife). I never even had a fleeting fangirl moment of Veronica/Dick shipping, but maybe if you were that will make you happy. I know Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls, Veronica’s big love on the show) is married, but I wish we could hear about them still being friends and hanging out. Maybe that would happen if they were on the same network, but Dohring is on Moonlight with CBS, while Bell is on Heroes for NBC. Alas!

In the Women’s Health interview, Bell describes herself as a homebody. (Woo, let’s hear it for those of us who’d rather watch a movie at home with friends instead of hanging out at a migraine-inducing bar all night!) As a homebody, she certainly has fun, though. She lives in a house with four of her friends, and they use one of the rooms as the ‘dance-party room’ and slide around in it in their socks. I’d so be up for that. My kitten, Frida, loves to do her own variation of that. I open up the Diet Coke boxes I have and she sort of slides through them with a running start, which sends her and the box swooshing across the kitchen floor. It’s a good time for all.
On the health front, what can we do to mimic Bells’ routine? She said she always takes the stairs - no matter what. And she does yoga. Both of those sounds doable. But then you hear that she “trains twice a week to build muscle.” And that doesn’t sound fun at all. I don’t know. Maybe it depends on what music she’s listening to. Can’t we all just jump on trampolines and sing karaoke?
As many know, Bell does the voiceovers on Gossip Girl. She plays the anonymous voice of the person who writes a scandal-filled blog about everyone. When asked what it was like to be this voice, i.e. “cattiness incarnate” - Bell said, “I channel the voice that everybody’s had in her head since grade school. … You’re worried that someone is thinking something bad about you, so you think it about them first.” Sure, I might have that voice in my head, but it’s always had a Scottish accent - what’s THAT about? Why does Ewan McGregor hate me!?

2008 Style Looks for Heroes’ Star Kristen Bell - She’s Improving!
Our dear Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Heroes) has not always made the best choices when it comes to her personal style on the red carpet. We forgive her though, because she’s an amazing actress and her personality makes us want to be her BFF. And, it is that type of fun and fearless approach to fashion that gives us a splash of flavor next to dull looks. Bell has come a long way in her choices. Still, no one is perfect. Here are four of her most recent 2008 red carpet looks. Let’s compare notes, shall we?
In a simple, structured, frock that goes from a dark forest green to paler moss green, Kristin Bell attended the premiere for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s female buddy comedy, Baby Mama. The dress is okay. But it’s not stunning. (And why not choose to look stunning?) For a hilarious movie, I don’t know why you’d want to dress as though you’re going to tea with the Queen. I’d like to hike up the skirt (the only reason to have such a high neckline is to get away with showing off a lot of leg), and cut the neckline to make it a boatneck. This would eliminate the bad boxy look (aka BBL). Standing in front of a movie poster with actual blocks is just a bad, bad, coincidence that enforces the unfortunate square shape.

MTV’s TRL called for a vibrant look. Also, apparently it afforded her a chance to go back to the 80’s. I love 80’s music, but the fashion is nothing to be proud of, let alone embraced. Then again I must eat my own words as I type this (and I don’t even know how that works!) because Bell donned an 80’s-inspired look in a season one episode of Veronica Mars, and that was wonderful. (”Everybody, wang chung tonight! WANG CHUNG OR I’ll KICK YOUR ASS!” - Logan Echolls aka Jason Dohring ) I’m trying hard to like this dress (honest, I am), but it’s just not doing anything for me aside from giving me a bit of a headache. It’s not HORRIBLE, but she can do better.

Stealing Hearts and Kissing Poodles
That’s what James Marsters is doing now. Or at least his new character is. (Or wants to do.)
Marsters played a platinum-haired vampire on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (where he first won me over, I can’t seem to resist sexy vampires*), and now he’s playing a brunette Time Agent (read: thief) on Torchwood.
Torchwood is a spin-off of the BBC show Doctor Who. It airs on BBC America and BBC Two. It is currently in its second season. That means you can catch up. Yay! (Under the jump I’ve put links for the DVDs.)
Marsters plays Captain John Hart. Tvguide.com recently had an interview with James about this role. He told TVguide that Torchwood is, “… a funny, subversive show like Buffy. I feel very much at home.”
There is also this gem of a quote:
“My character is way beyond bisexual. Spike was a romantic; this guy would do anything that moved. I cast a lustful glance at a poodle!”
This leads me to my
