Getting Fired was a Blessing for These Two TV Writers

The writer’s Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain were fired as writers on Women’s Murder Club, but it turned out to be a lucky move. Because now they’re writers on Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse. If you had to ask me which show I’d rather attach my name to, there’s just no comparing.

Already proving to be generous to the fans, the two writers answered questions on DollhouseTVForum. They also prove their witty writing chops, and I completly understand why Whedon picked them. When asked how Dollhouse would differ from other Whedon shows, their first quip was (the interview doesn’t specify which) “It’s going to be boring and badly written.” *Rimshot* What can I say, I’m a sucker for self-deprecating humor. Which is a trademark Whedon style. Yes, I learn from the master. He’s like Yoda. But not green. Er…was Yoda green? Well, you know what I mean.

Another one of the answers in the interview was, “Hmmmm. We’re gonna go with no. And yes. When you see the show, you’ll understand why that’s a tough one.” I think I might have two new favorite writers. Anyway, the link to the interview is above, and I highly suggest reading it! Something I recently found out that Shana is a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so no doubt she will be tuning in to check out the show!
